In 2015 Ann-Marie was one of 15 writers selected to take part in a Curtis Brown Creative Writing for Children course tutored by Catherine Johnson. She lives in Suffolk with her husband and two children and when she's not writing she loves nothing more than curling up with a good book. She also loves long walks in the countryside, swimming and drinking lots of tea! Her middle grade historical mysteries have been published to widespread critical acclaim, with five star ratings from The Telegraph, twice gaining the coveted Times Children's Book of the Week slot as well as receiving The East Anglian Book of the Year Award in 2020 for The House of One Hundred Clocks. Her latest book, Mystery of the Night Watchers, was called a 'superb historical adventure' by The Telegraph and was selected as Blackwell's Children's Book of the Month for July 2021.
