Alex Knight (notabilis mendax) is a midlist author endemic to the coastal wetlands of North America. A member of the scriptum mendaces family, he is best known for having books so popular they crash global markets, and a firm grasp on reality. His original habitat was confined to crumpled notebooks, but due to his meddling persistence, has expanded to include such works as the Nova Online trilogy, The Far Wild, Rise to Glory, and more. In 2018, notabilis mendax was included in the list of Invasive Species of Federal Concern. His current status is listed as “Class II: fast-growing; nuisance.”
