Amber Dermont is the author of the New York Times Best-Selling novel, The Starboard Sea, and the short story collection, Damage Control, both from St. Martin's Press. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, Amber received her PhD in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Houston.
