In December 2008, Anna's mother sent her to live with her dad in Arizona. A year and a half later, her 38-year-old boss held her against her will and raped her. He successfully got Anna pregnant before she finally escaped him. The summer of 2010 is the premise of Anna's first book In Plain Sight: A True Story of Kidnapping and Rape. Anna is now living in Mesa, AZ with her amazing husband, Joshua. They were married on 12/13/14 in Las Vegas, NV. Anna and Joshua have 4 beautiful children, Westley, Juliet, Jocelynn and Raiden. She recently returned to school in January 2020 to pursue a double major, Biochemistry and Forensic Science. Anna hopes to obtain a career as a Biological Forensic Scientist to help test the back log of rape kits in the United States.
