Caroline Emilia Law was born in the north of Italy and became passionate about food, like most Italians, at a very young age, watching and learning from her mother and grandmother as they prepared amazing food for their family-run restaurants. Her interest in healthy eating and promoting the world famous Mediterranean diet, meant that Caroline also went into the family business, learning everything she could about the food from the region before she moved to the United States. There, in New York, she increased her knowledge and quickly discovered that Mediterranean food was much sought after. As producing great food in a restaurant only reaches a finite number of customers, Caroline decided that the best way to bring it to as many people as possible and allow them to experience the delights of this style of cooking, would be to write about it. Now Caroline is a fully fledged author, producing quality books that draw upon her passion for producing some of the most stunningly authentic and delicious recipes imaginable, using only the very best of ingredients that provide the nutrition we all need. In her spare time Caroline enjoys an active lifestyle, walking and cycling as often as she can. She loves the ocean and taking long walks in the bracing sea air and when she wants to relax it is usually with a good book and better glass of wine.
