Hi! My name is Mikal Parrott, but I am better known online as DarkTechnomancer. I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, starting with my mother reading books to me when I was just a baby! I started young and just never stopped! I'm a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi of all genres, and I've spent more time with my nose buried in a book than I can even fathom. My first forays into the progression fantasy genre came from a friend recommending Coiling Dragon, a Chinese Xianxia novel that had, at the time, not even been fully translated yet. I found the concepts fascinating, and ended up reading several more stories in the genre before discovering the broader categories of LitRPG, Gamelit, and western cultivation that make progression fantasy. Obviously, I am still quite hooked! After reading so many amazing stories, I couldn't help but begin to imagine my own, and the rest, as they say, is history!
