Deborah Smith Pegues grew up in the Deep South during the 1960's. From her humble beginnings as a domestic maid, she had defied professional odds. She is a CPA/MBA (Univ. of So. Calif.), a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, and Certified Behavioral Consultant. After an illustrious career of over 30 years in corporate America, Deborah launched her full-time writing and international speaking career in 2006.
