My name is Faouez Khedhiri. I’m a certified sports nutrition coach who took the challenge and committed totally to change not only my body but my lifestyle and mindset. I have always been into sports. Fitness and exercising were and still an important part of my life. On the other hand, dieting was not really important to me. You must be wondering then why did I write a book about a healthy lifestyle such as Intermittent Fasting, and how did I get into this lifestyle. Well, I’m not going to claim a story of “I lost 20 pounds, that’s why you have to follow my program”. My journey to this lifestyle that you will discover throughout the book, started with a tragic event. My uncle who passed away after suffering from diabetes for several years, and knowing my family history with this disease, were the major points in my life that made me reconsider the way I was living, eating and taking care of my health and body. I started searching for diets that prevent diabetes and studying several training routines until one day, I read an article about intermittent fasting. I knew what fasting was all about considering the fact that I fasted before for religious reasons, but I had no idea what intermittent fasting is. So, I started to investigate and deeply studying this approach for 3 years. I was amazed by the facts and benefits that can occur from practicing this lifestyle. Currently, I can proudly say that I’m on my way to upgrade my body, “a term that I love to use”. I’m living a healthy and convenient lifestyle. I have never felt better in my life. For that reason, I decided to make other people aware of this lifestyle, and I have coached several friends to achieve tremendous weight loss. As a next step, I decided to write about this lifestyle that I follow to help someone who may be in need of such guides. Let's upgrade our bodies!
