It is a story of how three school friends Bea, Audrie and Gin meet up for a holiday in the South of France. All three are battling personal problems but humour, kindness, a new perspective and the unforgettable bond forged as teenagers may be just what they need. Maddie Please writes uplifting, romantic comedies with a steep learning curve for her characters, reflecting the sometimes confusing experiences of today's women (and men) which can be challenging whatever your age. Maddie likes the Bourne Trilogy, anything to do with Christmas, America, cruises and writing. In her spare time she likes watching American box-sets, thinking about holidays and drinking red wine. A Year of New Adventures followed in February 2018, A transatlantic crossing on the wonderful Cunard ship QM2 led to Maddie’s third book Come Away With Me, published in August 2018.
