Manlio Castagna

Born in Salerno in 1974. He is a screenwriter, director and editor of dozens of video clips, documentaries, short films, web series. He wrote and directed his first 35mm short film in 1997: "STICK ON TO IE" - starring Alessandro Haber In 1999 he joined the organization of the Giffoni Film Festival. For ten years (until 2018) he was deputy artistic director. From 2014 to 2018 he was creative advisor of the DOHA FILM INSTITUTE (Qatar) With the bestselling saga of PETRADEMONE he made his debut in children's fiction thanks to MONDADORI. May 2020 the novel co-written with Guido Sgardoli is released for PIEMME: LE BELVE for which the screenplay for the making of the film is being developed. Followed in October of the same year: I VENTI DEL MALE and LA NOTTE DELLE MALOMBRE published by MONDADORI.
