Susanna Herrero was born in Bilbao in 1980. She has a double degree in Law and Economics and her job forced her to spend many hours in a car, traveling. All those solo trips and her great imagination colluded to create the characters that would later become the main protagonists of her first saga: Los saltos de Sara. Passionate about reading ever since she first read The Neverending Story at the age of ten, she’d never thought of writing her own books, but she couldn’t turn her back on her characters either. Now she has exchanged car trips for literature, ever since her passion for the Mediterranean Sea, a certain little town in Alicante and a blank page made her fly hopelessly to the Cabana series and its five books: Aquel último verano (That Last Summer), El chico de la última fila, La última vez que vi llover, El último lugar en la tierra and Somos el último verano. In 2020, her novel Y el mundo no dejaba de girar won the Jaén Prize for Young Adult Narrative, which was a great recognition of her work and a turning point in her career. Susanna Herrero now ventures into the anglo-saxon market with That Last Summer, book one in a Mediterranean series about a family of five siblings and their sunny and sexy love stories.Read more Read less
