Story
Bradbury's Mars is a place of hope, dreams, and metaphor - of crystal pillars and fossil seas - where a fine dust settles on the great, empty cities of a silently destroyed civilization. It is here the invaders have come to despoil and commercialize, to grow and to learn - first a trickle, then a torrent, rushing from a world with no future toward a promise of tomorrow. The Earthman conquers Mars...and then is conquered by it, lulled by dangerous lies of comfort and familiarity, and enchanted by the lingering glamour of an ancient, mysterious native race.

A terrible waste of a wonderful narrator.
Narrator is fantastic.
The book is entertaining, but peddles dangerous climate change denying rhetoric that serves to dilute an important topic. Also makes fun of anything that offends the authors libertarian sensibilities.
As a Norwegian living in a thriving socialist democracy, I just had to stop reading it halfway through because the astounding pettiness of the rhetoric just made me uncomfortable.
If this book hadn't been trying so hard to take part in a political conversation, it probably would've been quite good.

First half good
The first three short stories from Larry are satirical and full of wit. The performance of Baldwin is superb.
Then we get to a diatribe focusing less on any story lines and solely on Larry’s political leanings, if you’re into politics that’s fine. I do not like politics in my satire about insurance, I’ve always strived to separate my insurance based sarcasm from my politically minded facetiousness. I was unimpressed.

Just Disappointed...
After I heard the first story, (which gets 4 stars across the board) I was hooked for the rest. However every other book is a dumpster fire of heavy handed political remarks on what should be a funny story. This is a book that won't age well. If you want funny scifi fantasy try Supervillainy Saga Book, or magic 2.0. Whats sad is this series should be good, good main protaginist with lots of snark, dumb side kick and a funny premise, but the execution on the last 3 stories is just atrocious, feels abit like listening to several hours of Rush Limbaugh...I think i may need a shower.

Funny at Times and Irritating at Others
Kind of a funny set of stories, but much of the zing is lost on the author's trumpian story line that appears at times. These stories could have been so much better without mixing in divisive politics. I felt slimed by it.

Thank you, Tom Stranger!
(This product contains previously published stories and new adventures -- this review focuses on the new stories)
After two re-writes, I must admit there is no way to write this review without giving spoilers that are either too obtuse or enter spoiler territory.
(get ready to meet Me-Maw, Jim, Boney, and many others...)
Adam Baldwin as performer is, of course, great -- but seemed to be off a half step compared to other entries.
I will say that any negative reviews are likely from Dolphin-bot accounts, so please consider them appropriately...

Did you have to get political, Larry?
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book when I heard it years ago, so when I bought this I was excited. The first couple of stories I enjoyed, but then Larry started letting some of his political, and honestly quite sexist views come through later on. Specifically the way he spoke about AOC i found extremely trashy and downright sad. Larry, I know that you like to just make a joke out of people who don’t agree with your opinions, so this review will make no difference to you. I just think it’s a shame you had to let some of your more bigoted views slip through. I wish I didn’t know that about you and was able to continue to enjoy your work.

Great story with mean-spirited attitude
The stories are quite decent (if a bit on the cheesy side), and the performace is superb. However, it seems the author thinks that cruelty and meanness are not only acceptable traits, they are to be endorsed and used liberally to draw a few cheap laughs out of the nerdy wannabe bully that seems to be the target audience of the book.
The setting itself is so delicious that two stars is the absolute minimum in any case.

about 50% new content
this would have been a perfect score if I hadn't heard a lot of it before.
so I give it a customer satisfaction score of 9/10
Larry filled this thing with humour and action and Adam gave it life...
of course getting to voice himself makes his job a little easier

Gave up after 10 minutes
A combination of cheap American, pulp, drops combined with an overly enthusiastic narrator had me reaching for the off and delete buttons within 10 minutes.

Fantastic collection of short stories
While definitely not one for everyone, this collection is just pure fun. It mocks many things, including itself and its author, but does so in a way that is genuinely amusing and, at times, laugh-out-loud.

Excellent customer service isn't apolitical
Love the premise, hate the politics.
A superlative insurance agent who's life resolves around excellent customer service, travels the multiverse to prevent calamity.
There is however 'real world' politics smeared all over the thing.
Imagine Artemis Fowl or Harry Potter written by a meme'ing hippie taking constant insane swipes at conservatives. Charge for air! Theocracy for all! Bullets as currency! - yeah it's that bad.

Amazing
Great story with genuinely funny and engaging story. Adam Baldwin as narrator is fantastic, he certainly conveys and maintains separate characters throughout.

Exactly what you would expect
This is exactly what you would expect to hear. The only pretentious thing about it is when pretentiousness is intended. It’s glide by as an earworm end it is pretty, surprising Lee, Hearon. I have to say I just love it’s

Rubbish attempt at funny
This guy thinks he's really funny. Like painfully. You know when you're at a party and someone keeps cracking jokes that are just lame, and they laugh at their own jokes the whole time as if they're hysterical, but everyone is just standing about looking at them like "really? shut up you douchenozzle"... that's this book. It's trying so hard, but it fails so much harder.
