In The Outsiders, you'll learn the traits and methods striking for their consistency and relentless rationality that helped these unique leaders achieve such exceptional performance. Humble, unassuming, and often frugal, these "outsiders" shunned Wall Street and the press, and shied away from the hottest new management trends. Instead, they shared specific traits that put them and the companies they led on winning trajectories: a laser-sharp focus on per share value as opposed to earnings or sales growth; an exceptional talent for allocating capital and human resources; and the belief that cash flow, not reported earnings, determines a company's long-term value.

Publisher's Summary
This book is about 100-baggers. These are stocks that return $100 for every $1 invested. That means a $10,000 investment turns into $1 million. Chris Mayer can help you find them.
It sounds like an outrageous quest with a wildly improbable chance of success. But when Mayer studied 100-baggers of the past, definite patterns emerged.
In 100-Baggers, you will learn the key characteristics of 100-baggers why anybody can do this. It is truly an everyman's approach. You don t need an MBA or a finance degree. Some basic financial concepts are all you need - a number of crutches or techniques that can help you get more out of your stocks and investing.
The emphasis is always on the practical, so there are many stories and anecdotes to help illustrate important points.
You should listen to this book if you want to get more out of your stocks. Even if you never get a 100-bagger, this book will help you turn up big winners and keep you away from losers and sleepy stocks that go nowhere.
After reading 100-Baggers, you will never look at investing the same way again. It will energize and excite you about what's possible.

Excellent but full PDF is missing, please attach the full PDF
The research and stories are great. However, author refereeing approx 15 times to PDF Which is unfortunately is missing and a PDF is the game changer here. There is only one page of PDF.
I strongly believes that someone has forgotten to attach the full PDF please be kind enough attach the full PDF.
I am on the impression that author thinks full version of PDF is attached which is not I guess he should check himself and demand for it.
All of the audio listeners ,kindle readers and textbook owners ask please for PDF to be attached because it handy and beneficial for all of us. Without PDS this is another story coloring book which is not they use but the PDF won’t be highly useful.
I will be increasing my rating to five stars once I see the full version of PDF is attached to Audiobook.

Not for people who work in finance; repetitive
If you studied or work in finance, or read more than a few of the quintessential finances texts this book will not teach you anything new.
Also, the core principle of this book is taught early on with the rest of the book spent giving examples and trying to compel you to believe it.

It's an interesting book, but it's difficult to really reference anything in it there's no accompanying document (I think there is supposed to be). I'm starting to think books like this aren't best suited to audio, if they're interesting I feel compelled to buy the book to really benefit from key points. Audio is good to listen to but feels like you are missing out on page material.

Too much focus on rare stocks that are very hard to find
Focus is on 100 baggers and author does suggest at times to wait for 20 years! Instead, he could have focused on finding much common x3-x4 baggers which would dramatically reduce the wait time…

Enjoyable story, Good insight into 100 baggers
I enjoyed this book. Actually listened to it twice in a row.
Gives some insight into good investing principles for long term holding and avoiding market swings. Focusing on return on equity and earnings instead of market price. Most 100 baggers went through some wild swings over the course of getting 100 to 1.
I had never heard of the coffee can investment style either. So that was an interesting idea.

So-so
I would rate it as a mediocre book. Who wouldn’t know that we should hold stocks forever if they are a hundred bagger. But the key difficulty is finding it in the first place. That is the most difficult part which the books doesn’t really address.
