Start out good, but then turns... weird.

Looking for positive affirmations that I can listen to any time as filler for my day. The first section was good. Because the content was decent, I did not notice any of the negative (hah). Subsequent chapters start getting really weird - music with strange vocals in the background. Ultimately the background music was so distracting that I could not pay attention to the actual affirmations.
Once I got distracted by the music, i noticed what annoying monotone the entire book is read in. And I mean MONOtone - robotic. There were also some affirmations that used negative words, as well things like "i love money". I like money as a tool, but I do not love money. Some of the affirmations just put me off completely.
I have found some other audio which did not have as many affirmations but was easier to listen to without the music and monotone. If i had to choose again i would not go for this one.

Meh.

Overall pretty good but not every single affirmation will pertain to you and it can start to feel monotonous.

For a laugh listen at 15:13:16, the narrator (voice actor?) gets frustrated and you can audibly hear “please, lord” said in agony.

Some affirmations are not applicable

Not bad, but some of these just don’t fit. In the chapter about depression, it began discussing my parents emotional neglect. I have depression, but not due to my parents neglecting me. It seemed to be a bold assumption towards not only the listeners, but how the listeners were raised.

Some Not Relevant

I was really excited to get this because I can listen to specific chapters in bed and then set a sleep timer. I went directly to chapter 20: Affirmations for Taking Action and one of the affirmations makes reference to my granddaughter. I don't even have grandchildren much less a granddaughter! Why would this be so specific? This is in just the first few minutes of the only chapter that I started listening to so I can only imagine there are other affirmations that won't be relevant to me. If I am listening to affirmations that have nothing to do with my life while drifting off to sleep then won't this do more harm than good? By harm, I mean confusing my subconscious.

A great collection of affirmations

I find this really useful. I am working on changing my self-talk right now and this definitely helps. The narrator is good, not over the top with her delivery. Some of the backing tracks are not entirely to my taste but they do not detract from the overall effect.

fantastic

use it when sleeping, I pick the one I need , ie motivation or depression and anxiety, there is a massive list of all different types of affirmations you can pick from and I play it ever night and put it on a timer so it only plays the part I wish to listen to,

Make a positive change in your life
