Excellent!

The fact that it was narrated by a man appeals to me. It's nice to hear the man share his concerns and thoughts.

Friends of mine have suffered from this. Usually, their husbands didn't have any patients for it.

I found this very interesting.

Very Helpful

As a husband, it is always best to keep your wife happy no matter how silly or how serious the circumstances. "Happy wife, happy life". But sometimes it is easier said than done, especially when your significant other is dealing with a serious medical condition. This audiobook has helped prepare me for how to help my spouse in her troubling times which will hopefully relieve some of the stress, anxiety and struggles of Endometriosis.

This audiobook may just save your relationship

The narrator is a very calm and soothing voice that makes me trust him. He talks a lot about relationship issues and how to resolve them in a successful manner. The tips are very helpful. For instance, he talks about making relationships a "safe space" so that both are comfortable and can grow together.

Helpful listen for affected loved ones

Endometriosis is a really challenging and painful illness — not that I know from experience, but I know someone who lives with it. Cohabitating with someone suffering from the disease can be quite difficult as well, as it places emotional and physical strains on the calendar and our relationships.

This audiobook provides many helpful tips for men affected (indirectly) by the condition. And, most importantly, it provides hope to those same people. It reminds affected men that a “normal” relationship is indeed possible, even if it will take a lot of patience and work.

The book also reminds us to cherish the small things in life. Endometriosis may bring pain and suffering into our lives and relationships, but it can’t take away our passion for life or the moments of joy we experience when we focus on connecting with the person/people in our lives affected by the disease.

It’s a helpful and compassionate listen and one that I recommend.

This book gives men all the tools necessary to provide their spouse with support, to make her feel safe and loved, and to understand the difficulties that she is going through. Women need to be understood and supported. The audiobook is well worth listening to.

This book fills a void as there aren't many books catered towards the partners of suffering people. The book is structured very nicely and gives you some amazing tips for understanding your partner and how to cope with such a condition. Worth the listen!

Understand what your partner is going through

I had never actually heard of endometriosis until it began to affect my wife.
Understanding just how debilitating it can be, and the struggles of getting a proper diagnosis really helped put the seriousness of the condition in perspective.
I appreciated all of the practical suggestions, and my wife and I have used this book to pick which of the strategies are best suited to help her. The FAQ is also great and has been a huge help in getting quick answers when I needed them. Highly recommended.

Game changer

This book is extremely informative, incorporating real experiences Endo people can relate to. The chapters have so much information without seeming overwhelming. Chapters are short which makes it a quick listen. This information helped me piece together different concerns and formulate questions to ask my partner. I would strongly recommend to anyone who is suspecting Endo, diagnosed with Endo, family members and friends. This book is incredible.

Great tips for husbands on understanding your wife

I was never really up to speed on endometriosis before and this book explained a lot of the reasons and issues that I experienced with my wife, through the early years. She always had problems with her periods and didn't conceive for 17 years. Once we finally got a diagnosis from the GP, we were told that she had to live with the problem but nothing was brought to my attention about how I had to deal with it. Since she has now had a hysterectomy, she no longer has the issue, but it would have been great to have this book years ago! If your wife or girlfriend has problems, then by all means read this book to get a better idea of how you can handle it.

Great resource!

The information provided is really helpful to educate men on Endometriosis! It's not common for men to know about this issue more than women so this is a good resource that brings awareness to men and make them better, more reliable partners. It touches on the facts of Endometriosis and how it affects a woman's body, how to cope, tips for men, and more. Highly recommended to men whose partner suffers from Endometriosis and to those that need awareness!

A valuable first hand resource

This audiobook is one of its kind on such an important topic. Most of the book on Endometriosis is written for women and rarely for caregiver, spouse or partners. It's empathy attitude helps men /partners to understand this illness better and there are lots of valuable coping method from first hand experiences from author. Would recommend to any husband/ partners who wife suffered from Endometriosis.
