Narration not an easy listen

Was really looking forward to listening to these stories, however the narration lacks vigour. Found that I was not enjoying the audible. Sadly I would not recommend,

A great compilation

I read a review of this audible offering and thought it would be a sad mistake owing to the thoughts of that reviewer. How wrong they were - they obviously didn’t hear the whole compilation. Admittedly the first one, the Balzac, was read in a monotone, but other than that one, all the others have lots to recommend them. I especially enjoyed the Conan Doyle, the Mark Twain pair, Jules Verne and Jack London - all of which I had read as a teenager 55 years ago. All together, most enjoyable. Thanks.
