A must listen.

Anyone interested in improving small talk skills should surely benefit from suggestions in this book. It gives quite a few good tips, but the list and conversation examples are not exhaustive, so it could be a little more practical. To conclude however it’s definitely worth a listen.

Amazing!

There are other books on small talk but this one is particularly worthy of attention on two grounds. First, it's particularly explicit about dos and don'ts, with crystalline examples. And those tips are aimed at average people--you won't be intimidated. The book's second core differentiator it's focus on the quality of your voice which, alas, can make as much difference as what you say.

I really enjoyed the book. I like his writing style and was never bored. But it is a lot of information so I’ll certainly listen it again. It is t for everyone, but i work in a large company and could really see how people use many of the topics discussed in the book.

It was good & useful

This book gave me what I asked for. It gave me the tools to push myself to act like the extrovert that everyone expects you to be. It did so by pushing you to do what you know you already should be doing.

A great resource!

This book had great advice for improving communication with job interviews and life in general! The narrator was awesome and as someone already said, sounded like he was speaking to me rather than reading a book. I enjoyed this audiobook and highly recommend it.

Loved this book a great deal!

This book has been extremely helpful to me because I am a bit of an introvert. I'm currently dating someone who is a very sociable person so the fact that I am lacking in this area is apparent. He has challenged me to work on my communication skills to adapt and I have accepted the challenge. I believe that the material you covered will be extremely helpful the more I work on it. Thank you!

A communication manual

I consider myself pretty antisocial and this book had a lot of good tips and examples. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to improve their social life. The book targets almost all areas of communication skills from verbal, non-verbal, and the psychology of communication. It’s one of those book that’s packed with great advices in a punchy, direct way. A life manual that will benefit many people. I will buy a hard copy for my husband and for future referencing. Highly recommend!

Helpful guide to communicate better

I loved the book and that it covered off on a number of different regularly occurring scenarios. My only recommendation would be to title the chapter in the audio book so listeners can revisit chapters at a later time that are pertinent to them. I am yet to implement all the advise given in this book; however, the ones I have already used have help me experience better conversions with colleagues, friends and family members.
