Hits home

Direct.. I listened to this while sitting at a park in my vehicle. Listening to it made me realize how much I do that stops my own success.. When she explains how to visualize your emotion I got mad and amazed at myself because thinking about this brought tears to my eyes. If you're considering listening to this, you already know you need to. I am going to listen to it again and take notes.. Good luck in all you do.

A brief and well story

This is a brief techniques for manage self sabotage, basically judging our thoughts and questioning them, instead of avoid them, and this will help you to not giving more power to bad thoughts that they deserve.

Very insightful

This was very insightful and I believe that these would be good strategies. It does a fantastic job at breaking down certain thought triggers and ways to deal with each. I really enjoyed the fact that it is broken up into sections based on bullets / main topics. Also, these sections are titled the bullets so it's very easy to go back in reference.

Extremely Helpful

I have listened to this book several times and will need to listen to it several more in order for the concepts that Dr Ho lays out in this book to fully sink in. Dr. Ho does a great job of describing self-sabotage and it's triggers as well as providing help to avoid for correct moments of self-sabotage.

Helped me overcome my self sabotaging trait at work!

This listen is amazing! Not only did the author pin point my sabotaging habits, she presents solutions that are doablesb. I like the "I should have but..." strategy, it will help me appreciate myself more.

Love Dr. Judy Ho! This is another clear and easy anecdote for bad self talk

I have always been a huge fan of Dr. Judy; from her time on her own TV show and segments on The Dr’s and Dr. Phil. SHE KNOWS HER SH*T! Lol. All joking aside, this is a nice little booster for a more lengthy Self Sabotage killing plan. These steps are easy to implement and they cost Zero $ to practice treating yourself better!

Didn’t agree with arguments

I’ll say straight out, I didn’t listen to the whole book. It turned me off when it say why I do things, and I disagree. It should have said “in many cases” or something similar, but not as a complete coverage of everyone.

Snake Oil

In a nutshell, self-sabotage comes from cowardice. That's it. That's Judy's life changing epiphany.
This is painfully obvious beyond being remotely useful while neglecting the many other forms of self-sabotage such as but not limited to: greed, ego, substance abuse or other causes which are independent of fear.
