Pidge & Travis I could Read & Listen Forever!

DO NOT MISS THIS!!!! Not only are the Narrators Outstanding for Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster, if it's possible, they're even better in the performance of A Beautiful Wedding. I never want it to end. The story and pacing are excellent, and I will have to listen to Travis and Pidge again in the other books. Jamie McGuire has hit her "Sweet Spot" in her story of these two...while I've read her other books...nothing affects me or hits home with me like Travis and Pidge - and I'd love for her to write a sequel about a Travis, PIdge, their lives and perhaps what goes on with the next brother and the next...doesn't have to be a murder or huge crisis, Jamie writes real life very well. As usual with my "treasured" books, I own the ebook, hardcover and Audible - reading and listening add different dimensions and reveal different things about the same story - I Love Love. With these two, the depth of feeling is never corny, you'll feel a warmth, a glimpse of the character and heart it takes to deserve what they have. They truly become One.

Nope, just nope!

This actually made me think less of the main characters and broke my heart a bit!! This feels like the publisher was pushing for a novella, but it fell flat. No Bueno, I think I'm done if the next book has this feel! I don't think Beautiful Disaster was supposed to continue, the integrity of the story is diminished with each new book. I'll take quality over quantity any day!

Awesome!

So awesome we get to relive Abby and Travis... this was great.... I knew some great things happen at the wedding... Great Great!!! I could even tolerate the dual narration, which I am not a fan of...

Narration was great from Galvin POV... and great from Webber POV...I prefer just one narrator, but since I was in Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster world at the same time...it worked...

Totally Credit if you have BD and WD by Jamie McGuire...

Simply Beautiful

The book answered some questions I had at the end of the last book and I was so happy to go along for the beginning of their HEA. It was nice to have one of their books told from both perspectives too.

Cute but nothing to go crazy over.

I was jumping up and down when I found Jamie wrote about the wedding. However from time to time Abby titers from wanting to marry Travis for love to marring him just to keep him out of possibly going to jail. This was something that I hadn't thought of with in the 50 times I've listened to both Beautiful & Walking Disaster. That fact kind of ruined the romance side. Luckily Jamie pulls it out of the bag with the romance leading to our favorite couple to be adorably mushy and loving. I would have loved to hear about the details that lead Travis to work for the government. It was briefly spoken about in Walking D.

Love the book

What did you love best about A Beautiful Wedding?

I love the story, the love that they have for each other.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Emma Galvin and Zachary Webber ?

I don't like how the narrator Emma reads the book. There is no emotion, just reading. It made the book not worth listening too. Almost destroyed the book. I would rather Edita Brychta or Jill Redfield.

If you could rename A Beautiful Wedding, what would you call it?

A beautiful Life

Good book

I love this book, I’ve read it many times. However, the voice who reads for Abby was not my cup of tea. She is very monotoned and sounds like a robot. I was not able to listen to this book on audio.

Worth a listen!!

This novella answers some questions about Abbie's motovation to get married so quickly. I enjoyed it as much as the first 2. it's not an "edge-of-your-seat" kind of story, but it nicely fills in some gaps!

Love this addition!

I’m not sure why other readers don’t like Emma Galvin as the narrator? I personally became used to her in “Beautiful Disaster” and I can’t imagine “Abby’s voice” being different. I think her voice fit the part! On a side note Dan Bittner read the 2nd book from Travis’s point of view and I wish he would have narrated this one too. In this book Zachary Webber read and it didn’t feel the same. He is very soft spoken as a reader and I always had to turn up the volume when it was his turn to read.

The story is fabulous and I found myself laughing multiple times, you can’t treat this like a “full book” it just an addition to books one and two- it wasn’t necessary but I greatly enjoyed it! Oh and it has a great s*x scene in this one ;-) I’m giving the story a 4 because it did get a bit repetitive about the fire incident and it wasn’t long enough- I love Abby and Travis and don’t want the story to end! Haha

Thought it would be better

Having loved Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster I thought this would be just as good, but unfortunatley this was not the case.

I think this was partly due to Emma Galvin's narration, it was almost like she sounded bored throughout. Thank God Zachary Webber was reading Travis's POV or otherwise I wouldn't of been able to make it the end.

In my opinion this isn't worth the money/credit unless you're a die-hard fan of the series.

Light but great story content -narrative voice sound too young

Narrative voice sound a bit too young to believe College age.
14 -15
Story content light as doesn’t cover anywhere near the same ground or length to cost as other novellas

Story characters and flow really good though my preference was the trough Travis’s eyes journey
thanks
