Story
When a local teen goes missing, the town of Stoneybrook fears the worst. Hadley is sure Miranda’s disappearance has nothing to do with the drug dealer who was found dead in Cascade Ridge. The charming candy-shop cashier is entirely too sweet to get involved in any of that. But when the clues pile up, Hadley can’t help but draw parallels. Suddenly autumn isn’t feeling like the cozy season Hadley loves, and the clock is ticking faster than the leaves are falling. Every moment counts in a missing persons case, but whom do you suspect when the victim is beloved by all?

Clare Cosi used to manage the historic Village Blend coffeehouse…until she opted for quieter pastures and a more suburban life. But after ten years and a little friendly cajoling from the owner (a fresh pot of Jamaican Blue Mountain was all it took), she's back to the grind. With a sprawling rent-free apartment directly above the Village Blend, her cat Java by her side, and plenty of coffeehouse redecorating ideas, Clare is thrilled to return to work. Until she discovers the assistant manager unconscious in the back of the store, coffee grounds strewn everywhere.

Even Better Than the First Story
I really enjoyed the first Stoneybook mystery so much that I immediately started listening to A Fresh Kill, which is the second mystery in the series.
I thought I had this mystery figured out from the very beginning. I was so close but did not have it. It was very well written. I thought the character building was great. It built well on the first book. Suze (Hadley's best friend) is secretly dating Hadley's twin brother. Luke and Hadley start to have more interactions. The real estate lady who seems more obsessed with playing matchmaker then selling houses is hilarious. Hadley gets her dream home. Everything about this story is so sweet, and I just loved that I literally thought I had the killer correct until the last few sentences. Scott throws in a very slight but great twist at the end. I really cannot wait to listen to the third book!
Jennifer Jill Araya is an amazing narrator. She pegs these characters so well with her voices and really brings them to life. I feel like I am smack dab in the middle of Stoneybrook.

More Mystery in Stoneybrook
A Fresh Kill is the second book in the Stoneybrook Mystery series. In this installment Haley seeks to sell her home, deals with her ex-husband's return to town, and tries to uncover a mystery her twin brother and best friend are hiding. Amidst this excitement, a florist from the neighboring rival town is murdered by bee sting at the local weekly outdoor market. Implicated are two of Haley's friends and a cast of other potential suspects. Once again, Haley and friends investigate the crime. In the mean time, Haley and Luke look at houses.
As with the first installment, this story provides an excellent cozy mystery with twists and turns, humor, friendship and small town drama.
Jennifer Jill Araya once again provided an excellent narration.

Another Solid Cozy!
Can be read as a standalone but we already have some background of Stoneybrook and a good idea of who all the main characters are from book one. I enjoyed A Crafty Crime, but I think I liked this one better. The mystery in this one was a little bit more intriguing and I really wasn't expecting the culprit to be who it turned out to be. Less predictable than the first book, but is another well written solid cozy mystery that is a great addition to this adorable series. Loved that we get to know the characters better as well as their pasts.
The narration was just as fabulous in this book as it was in book 1. The narrator is consistent for the series thus far and has represented Hadley, the town, and the story well. Great narration made this another quick afternoon listen and I can't wait to hear more in the future.

A Sticky Sequel
This sequel was better than the first book! I loved seeing the trio solve a new murder and thought the crime itself was pretty unique. I enjoyed learning more about Stoneybrook’s rival town and the people inside of it. Once again, I really enjoyed the addition of Marisa McClellan’s recipes at the end of the book!
Jennifer did another amazing performance. She had my attention throughout the whole story and brought every character to life!

Awesome Next in the Series!
This is yet another really great cozy mystery from Eryn Scott. You don't have to listen to the first book to enjoy this one but it'll add depth to this story. I loved the twists and turns, the suspense and the humor. Once again this is a well written story with characters you can't help but love. I have fallen for Stoney Brooks! I can't wait until the next in this series! The narration is once again spot on! Jennifer Jill Araya has become one of my favorite narrators. She really knows how to bring each character to life and make the listener feel as if they are there. It's a wonderful combination that I hope continues. I will recommend this book as well to my friends. Well worth your time!

Loved it
This is the second book i have read in this series. I really love the characters and the story lines. This t ime the murder is a rival flower shop owner who dies at the Saturday market sale. He is found dead in his van by Hadley of course. Cause of death? Honey bees. Now it is up to Hadley to help her brother prove it was murder and find the killer. This book is very entertaining and never a dull moment. The narrator does a wonderful job with the characters. I look forward to more in this series. Audio Review:
I loved this book from start to finish. It is a cozy mystery and one that I found thoroughly entertaining.
The narrator did a fabulous job and certainly kept me entertained. This was a a book filled with secrets and lies. The intrigue and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat as I listened to this story.
There are many twists, turns and surprises in A Fresh Kill as Hadley and her band of friends follow the clues and I have to say that I was taken by surprise on a couple of occasions. I cannot wait for more in this series.

A fresh mystery
I enjoyed this book and can't wait to start book three. What I like is the characters and the way that they play off of each other, they all have a special bond and this comes through nicely in the story. The mystery was good and I liked all the clues that were dropped, I nearly had it all worked out and thought the murder although not unique was very clever and well thought out.
Stoneybrook farmers market is looking to the future and in doing so has allowed a seller from a rival town to sell his flowers there for the first time. Before the vendors have even unpacked there vans of jams, art, pottery and even flowers he is found dead inside his own van. Hadley doesn't believe anyone in her town could possible be the killer so goes undercoverwith her best friend Suze in the next village with the perfect cover of looking for a new home. Can the pair find a killer or a new home? With bees proving to be the killer the pair will have to stick together if they don't want to get stung. Back in there home town things are getting complicated with all the evidence pointing to there florist and friend. Hadley's own brother might not have any choice but to arrest him. Hadley's ex husband is also back and stirring up trouble and starting fights. This is one fight that might just have a sting in its tail.
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job of bringing the characters to life with very unique voices.

A definite must buy series.
After listening to the first two books in this series I am entirely addicted and can't wait for books 3 and 4 to become available on Audible.
The mystery was was well written and had me guessing. I really love the slow burn romance that runs through the series. Luke is a charming character and I love seeing the little glimpses into the bond he and Hadley had as childhood friends. It's makes for a lovely, feel good read.
The narration is excellent and I would buy more books performed by Jennifer Jill Araya.
