Ok installment in fairy tale series

My son liked this installment more than I did. I don't think the author is the best narrator. More significantly, neither of us thought the characters were likable or believable in this one. The female protagonist and many of the female minor characters seemed unlikeable. My son thought the male protagonist was very immature given his stated age. That said, he enjoyed the story and that saved it for him.

11 - year old reviewer

If you could sum up A Grimm Warning in three words, what would they be?

funny, thrilling, and awesome.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Grimm Warning?

My favorite part of the book is when Conner met OMG (Old Mother Goose) for the first time.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene in the book is when the sick fairy godmother single handedly fought the dragon.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Kids who live in separate dimensions that must be reunited to save the world.

Any additional comments?

This book is the best. It's scary and funny at the same time and the narrator makes the jokes even funnier.

I loved it.

Oh my goodness talk about a cliff hanger this one is a doozy. I've got to start listening to the next book immediately. But first I have to say this book was incredible. Of course Conner & Alex are missing each other terribly. They are trying to adjust to the changes in their lives. But it's not easy. On top of that they both find themselves dealing with crushes for the first time in their lives. It was exciting to be part of Conner's mission across Europe. Where he & a couple of his friends are following clues trying to uncover the answers to a huge secret. Conner is panicking worried that his sister, grandmother, & others in the Land of Stories are in danger. The story covers many landmarks & descriptions of all the beautiful places they see during their journey. It was like being there myself. Chris once again does a amazing job voicing the character's. This time he has to give some of them accents. I think he did a incredible job. Very believable & natural. Thanks again Chris for another thrilling adventure.

How could you not love this book?

Love the book, love the performance, love Chris Colfur ( I slaughtered the name I know) as the narrator, just love it all. If you like books like “Harry Potter” “Flunked” “Misfits” and “Artemis Fowl” then you will love this series.

🦄Cornelius Powr🦄

This book is very different than the others. One day I asked my teacher is the generals. Well that was 26 eyebrows raised at me lol. Kids should read this all the time. In one of the chapters I think the kids with the well, shouldn’t have gotten water at all. They are rude. Why pick on something or someone when y’all can be friends. ❤️= never judge Cornelius or anyone by its cover.
