The more crazy, the better!

Volume 2 made the story more exciting as it continued Volume 1. More sexy situations like in a hilarious, or titular, harem anime and manga that made passing the time more fun. Love the plot and all the excite parts.

At some point

The book wasn't bad but at some point a person needs to except the facts instead of denying them for 2 books. That always irrates the hell out of me. he can grow in power but still stays the same child? The screaming like a girl gag worked the first few 10 times but gets rather old. I don't want to put any spoilers in here. The problem is this is to close to To Love-Ru and still not the hero I wanted to see with her. I just keep hoping she will find a better hero. I'm going to wait and listen to a few other books before trying to listen to the 3rd book.

Enjoyable listen

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. The narration was well done, and I felt like her reading of it added a lot. The story was good, if you want something light this is well worth it.

Better than Vol1 but still...

I wrote a review about the 1st volume and it still has some of the same problems. The characters fleshing out makes the series feel like there is some more meaningful branching away from the manga that inspired the story (To Love Ru) but it's still too similar.
The first volume brags about having a better protagonist than TLR but I find the little t*rd more frustrating than TLR's Yuuki Rito.
Alex Ryker has a very irritating view of his own sexuality, chastising himself for "objectifying" women he's attracted to in one part of the book and at many parts he's feels aggressive tendencies towards guys who are openly expressing sexual interest in women (not harassing them, just talking about finding women hot.) Perhaps this will be a flaw his character will Iron out as his story progresses, but right now it comes across as him being kind of a preachy twit and makes the first volume's promise of a better protagonist than TLR a bit presumptuous.
The same kind of humor in TLR is employed, any scene that gets hot n' heavy in the story will result in a character interrupting. Perhaps character romance will progress in this series and characters will actually go all the way which would be a good change from TLR but considering the current length of this series I wouldn't be too surprised if no actual sex has taken place in the 9 volumes so far.

Tl;Dr, I enjoyed it, will keep reading but too similar to TLR to really recommend, if you had to choose between reading this or the To Love Ru manga, read TLR.
