Someone is making very determined attempts to murder inoffensive newly-qualified Doctor Humphrey Jardine. Or perhaps the odd circumstances surrounding the death of Septimus Maddock may be the key? On par with Sherlock

Dr Thorndyke stories are as good as Sherlock’s adventures in my opinion. They share a similar style of story telling and narration. Any fan of Sherlock will enjoy this series. To this particular audiobook the narrator does and excellent job of voicing the characters and the mystery and solution is excellent.

Great Story

A story you can loose yourself in. R Austin Freeman writes imaginative and believable stories of the time, this is one I read as a book many years ago, I see audible are adding more of his titles, can't wait to hear Mr Pottermack's Oversight on audible, as well as " A certain Dr Thorndyke"
