I Expected More

This story had a lot of potential....It felt rushed to me....in addition, the narration changed which was not only a let down...these narrators insulted the characters in the book with their poor depiction of already established personalities (with the exception of Mel & her son Dylan). Also the female narrator Mari can never get the characters names right...does not matter which book she's narrating, she ALWAYS mispronounce character names. On a bright note....I noticed Shooter being mentioned a lot in this book....I feel a Shooter book coming on....BUT, PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW A Shooter & Lexi relationship....I Hope they continue to just co-parent. We Need a new love interest for Shooter...perhaps a new up and coming artist.....and our previously established narrators for this series!

Slow

I don’t know if it was the narrators or the storyline but this is boring. I found the other books to be exciting and sexy. Even the love scenes are boring. This missed the mark. Leon was ok, but Mari...just no, she didn’t do the h any justice. I think this is a book that should be read, not on audible. I’m probably going to return it, I’ll never listen to it again.

Should have kept the same narrators

I am sooooo disappointed as I have the other 4 books in the series. If only the original narrators would have remain. I have been contemplating for months on purchasing because other novels I listened to have Mari as the narrator. She is dry, doesn't lend well to bringing the book to life, and is horrible with manipulating her voice and accents for various characters. She would do better with old school novels that do not require depth in the narration. The male was also dry and didn't pick up Mari's missing pieces. Glad this wasn't my first Bennett novel or I would have been unfairly turned off to Donnia Maria and her artistry. Great story but the narrations killed it for me.

Read it to continue the series

Okay I enjoyed the book however, the narrators were not giving the vibes of Jakobi and Wesleigh at times I felt it was being read however it was good love the healing from Tay and how he is a real man at such a young age.

Maybe reading is better

this was not up to par. it's as if it was written as a fulfillment of obligation. don't think the author's heart was in this story. the narrators were Ok.

I love this story. I couldn't put it down. The personality of the characters keeps me intrigued about what's happening next.

This was pleasant and good Listen

I was hesitant to read because Book 3 was a little bit of everywhere but this book was concise and stayed to the point. I loved to see the maturity of all 3 main characters even Mel because she had to learn to trust the man she was loving no matter his age and both communicate like adults. I look forward to an update from their family! I’m really starting to like Leon as a narrator and Mari’s voice is growing on. Either way the story came across and I enjoyed it!

Easy and Comforting

It did took me a minute to adjust to the male narrative voice, I went to chapter 4 then started back over and I started to really like his voice. If you want an easy going but sexy book, this is it!

Predictable

I've heard this story a 1000 times, I love the author but let's add some more depth to these stories.
