Publisher's Summary
David Mitre has a very unusual set of skills, skills he has acquired over a long criminal career. Skills that make him an irritant for people like the FBI. Hiding among the expat community of the Greek islands, his cover is blown when he is witness to a stabbing on a Cyprus beach.
The FBI want answers, and David is given an ultimatum: solve the murder or face imprisonment for his own crimes. Coerced into playing detective, David unwittingly uncovers a criminal enterprise far worse than anything he could have imagined.

A whiff of British bashing, but really enjoyed it.
Positively galloped along, which is always a good sign.
I only bought it because Jeff was narrating, which worked our well.

excellent book... need the next one now
loved it, I bought it purely on chance. I love the jack reacher type books, so got this thinking it'll be in the same vain.. it was but with a lot more humour.

The best Jack Reacher I've read
I could listen only to Jeff Harding, and try to. This ended only a moment ago but just had to say it was the most enjoyable book of Jeff's reading I've listened to since I first found him. Many laugh out loud moments and Jeff/Jack just at his best. I put off listening to this one for a long time but fitted in really well to just this time. Pity Mitre doesn't seem to have been reborn. Yet!

Good not great
A strange style of writing which seems to make the story haphazard, Jeff Harding as usual does it proud but its's not really one for me.

Usual paedo porn
Get fed up with use of porn in these stories.
Shame on Jeff Harding, usually the best ever reader. Why does he take these nasties on?
