sweet story

This was my first book by the author and I really enjoyed it. I got this as an audiobook and it was so much fun to listen to. The narrator did a nice job with differentiating the characters and bringing them to life. This is a sweet story about love, forgiveness, and second chances. Carter and Laura have a painful history, but fate has brought them together again for a second chance. They were great together and had a real connection and such great chemistry and you will absolutely fall in love with her son Holden. This was a fun and heartwarming story and I will definitely be looking for more of Ms. Murphy's books! I received a complimentary copy from StoryOrigin and am voluntarily leaving my review.

4.5 stars can’t wait for book two

Fabulous first book in a few series. Fmc is a single mum of an adorable 3 year old. She has the power of healing and is a paramedic.

Male lead made some awful decisions as a teen and this is a second chance novel.

Loved the story and it has great character development in both main characters.

Ends on a cliffhanger.

Secrets and second chances

Laura has a secret… she has the ability to heal people, but not everyone. A crash, involving her high school sweetheart, may be what exposes her, but it also might be her second chance at love.

I loved this tale by Kathryn K. Murphy. The idea of having a special ability is intriguing, and the stage has been set for more books to come!

The narration by Frances Anderson was well done. I would certainly listen to more of her works.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

The Sisters in Sirens Series - book 1

Ugh - the cliffhanger!!!! Such a great read / listen. Wonderful storyline with amazing characters. Smooth flowing. I love the antics of Holden and the narration for him was so sweet - really, the narration was perfectly done for all these characters! Smooth and easy to listen to. The storyline was so well done, our main characters Laura and Carter get a second chance after some misguided ways in their youth. I love Carter's character growth and Laura's strength. I also love that Laura has a beautiful and strong support system which I think is so important in real life - we all need those friends that become our chosen family. So, with all that being said - the cliffhanger was not what I expected at all and now I need Murphy to do an audio for book 2 asap cause I just need to know more!!!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Second Chances!!

I really enjoyed listening to A Touch of Healing by Kathryn K. Murphy because it was such a wonderful story about forgiveness, second chances, hope and love. I honestly loved the concept of Laura and her ability to heal people being a paramedic. The chemistry she had with Carter was amazing and the pain of their breakup back in high school was hard to listen to. Carter and Laura had history and fate brought them back together. Holden, Laura's little boy was a hoot. Loved him and his mickey mouse. This was such a wonderful story. Loved Laura's friends as well. The narrator was great in voicing all the characters. This was the first time I have heard or read anything by the author. It certainly won't be the last time. I am so invested in these characters and can't wait to see what happens next. I would highly recommend this story. It was fantastic. I received a free ARC via StoryOrigin and I am choosing to voluntarily give my opinion. I loved it!!

a lot of potential, but...

I really wanted to like this one. A little bit of magic, a second chance romance...
Unfortunately something didn't click. I was left with a feeling that I did not understand some of the reasonings, that the story and characters were a little plat.
It had a lot of potential, but I felt it didn't fulfill it.
The narrator was also flat - maybe she didn't "feel" the story either...

unlikable laura

Laura was very hard to like or tolerate. She was prickly, rigid , and condescending and very unforgiving. She acted like she was better and on a higher moral ground than Carter, and I despised that. Carter bent over backwards for this prickly immature girl and deserved better than her. The heart is a FOOL!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

chance

I loved the narration of Frances Anderson, bringing the characters and plot all together. Making this a great listen,

Carter and Laura have a painful history, but fate has brought them together again for a second chance. Carter made some awful decisions as a teen. Laura has a young son, she also a true healer and is a paramedic.

These two are meant be together. Loved this story.

Ahhh ends in cliff hanger..
