There are many ways to die at the Circus of the Dead. You’re invited to witness them all. Mom sent me all the way across the country to the Louisiana bayou to join the circus and help my uncle for the summer. Except there is something not quite right on this swampy cursed island, and after having my fortune told, I can’t leave. Publisher's Summary
This collection includes all three books in Serena Valentino's Villains trilogy.
Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen
Why exactly is the wicked Queen so nasty, particularly to Snow White? Perhaps it has something to do with the creepy-looking man in the magic mirror who's not just some random spooky visage.
The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince
A cursed prince sits alone in a secluded castle. Few have seen him, but those who claim they have say his hair is wild and nails are sharp - like a beast's! But how did this prince, once jovial and beloved by the people, come to be a reclusive and bitter monster? And is it possible that he can ever find true love and break the curse that has been placed upon him?
Poor Unfortunate Soul: A Tale of the Sea Witch
The third novel in Serena Valentino's Villains trilogy features the story of the Little Mermaid from the perspective of the sea witch Ursula.

This is not your childhood Disney experience!
These are not the Disney Fairy Tales you grew up watching. Serena Valentino has taken characters we are familiar with and lifted their stories to a whole new level. I found each tale fascinating. The first is Snow White. What happened before her step mother changed? What caused her to change? What kind of relationship did the pair have when Snow was a child? And who are those nasty cousins?
Next we meet the Beast, before he is a Beast. What was his relationship with Gaston? Who did the Prince date? What happened? Why? How did those nasty cousins get involved here?
Lastly, we come to the story of Ursula, the Sea Witch from Ariel’s story. What caused her to become who and what she was.? Who was her family? Why were she and Triton on such bad terms? What did she have against the Little Mermaid? How did Ursula become friends with those nasty little cousins? Why did the Dark Fairy warm the cousins to watch out from Ursula?
All in all, the stories were a great listen. Not only were the tales well crafted, but the narration was beyond excellent! Lucy Raynor’s voice is perfect for these stories. Her accent runs from upper class British nobility to a rollicking Scottish brogue and everything in between. Some characters are very young, others old, some are the epitome of grace and excellence while others are slightly crazed to down right loopy. Raynor catches them all and each are given their own voice. These stories were so fun to hear performed. Totally worth the credit for 17 hours of exemplary story telling.

This is one Evil Disney Famiy
I have been pleasantlysurprised at these stories. I do not want to give anything away to ruin it.,but I live the way the author is tying all the stories together...that is all I am going to say on that, except....WOW!, Who knew?!?!Great idea. Excellent "behind the scenes" twist. reader is excellent. although you could pick these books up singularly, I suggest you read them in order to get the full effect. job well done

Barely has anything to do with the Disney villians
It was a good take on the villains tale... when it was about the villians. Most of the stories revolved around the "odd sisters" to the point where one could almost forget what they were listening to. Though the parts where it was about the villains was decent. I can't say I was a fan of the odd sisters personally. And since the odd sisters dominated the stories I don't see myself buying another one of these books.
Note: if you do buy this then don't listen to them out of order. Again, the stories really revolve around the "Odd sisters" and each book ties into the last, a continuation of their tale.
The voice actor was decent enough. a lot of the characters sounded the same. But it did captivate my attention, and seeing as I am ADHD that is saying something. I wouldn't mind too much getting another book (other than these) narrated by her.
