I ordered this book for my daughter

I am a psychotherapist who specializes in the treatment of ADHD. Anyone who works with young children should listen to this audiobook! This book is really well-organized and intended for children ages 2-14, but it is also useful for children younger and older than that. The approaches and ideas are priceless and have made a significant difference in my profession. There is also a chapter on neurodiverse children, which is useful. It was recommended to me by a senior therapist who was regularly commended for his approach to managing children with ADHD. When I asked him, he spoke about this book at length and then sent the link to me. I am lucky to have listened to this. I can’t wait to recommend it to my other colleagues.

This is a great book set that all parents

ADHD; how to raise an explosive child was a thorough book: it focuses on understanding ADHD (beyond what we see in movies and television shows) and providing instances of how to manage it. Both writers have real-world experience identifying and treating ADHD, which made them stand out since they could talk from positions of authority. The look at contemporary medicines for treating ADHD was the most intriguing portion of the book. There is a wealth of information available on support groups as well as options to be tested in order to receive that diagnosis. The audiobook was arranged in such a manner that it is easy to follow and understand, line by line or to dip in at various places for the precise information that a reader is searching for, making it a fantastic resource to revisit

Best Advice Ever

I was ecstatic to get the opportunity to listen to Olivia’s latest audiobook. The earliest and greatest book on ADHD was a big benefit to my family and, I am sure, millions of others. Olivia examines ADD outside of the realms of “deficient” or “illness” in this book, placing it more on the wider spectrum of neurodiversity. This book offers guidance not only to ADDers but to everybody living in our increasingly distracted world. This book is jam-packed with information. If you have an ADD individual in your life, or if you are driven to distraction yourself, this book gives specific techniques based on research for functioning within that brain framework, as well as for recognizing the creativity and other aspects of the brain.

This is an amazing little audiobook!

When I look back and observe how much I’ve been ignorant of what ADHD means, I can only appreciate the much effort put into the publishing of this book. The information could only come from a person who is fully devoted to child development and one who’s had a vast experience interfacing with several categories of kids with varying syndromes of a deficit hyperactivity disorder. If you’re in desperate need of a guide to help you fix ADHD in kids and also learn new and effective ways to capitalize on hyperactivity to raise a truly explosive kid, this book is one you shouldn’t keep far from you.

Healthy and happy child

Off the record, this book is wow! I can’t recall how many times I had to read some parts of the chapters that speak directly to me as a parent that is nursing a child with attention deficit. I have been told that ADHD is not a death sentence but what I seemed not to get answers to was the management of this condition. A big thanks to the writer of this book also to this platform for prioritizing this book so as to be easily seen. I have always believed that raising a child is not a one man’s job. External contributions like this could help many parents get it right. This book is a product of genuine knowledge

A must for parents

I noticed early that my child doesn’t follow through with instructions and also doesn’t complete his homework. This got me really worried until I read this book. Now I know how to properly handle him and also make him maintain his calm. I am glad to have purchased this book, although reading through the reviews, I wasn’t sure if I should go for it. I’m confident that the chapters in this book will help any category of parent to handle whatever expression of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. One other plus to this book is that once you have it, you can always refer back to the information written inside for further guidance.

A helpful parenting guide.

I’m glad to find out the truth today! I used to think that my son was just being lazy and always wanting to get by with all of his homework from school. After reading this book, it seemed to me like the author knew what my son was passing through. I needed to take a break from my personal engagement to study him and be sure that he was only being lazy and not expressing hyperactivity disorder. After a while of paying close observation, I was convinced to admit the truth. Thanks to this book, I also feel sorry to have been carried away by my routine duties.

Such An Important Audio Book!

Few years ago, I realized that my daughter who is only 5 years old is fond of avoiding tasks given to her either at home or from school. I never really saw this as an issue of major concern because I believed that every elementary school kid should dislike homework and house chores. But going through this book and also paying close attention to the details provided by the author, I saw that I needed to study those traits in her and to my surprise, I found out she doesn’t hate just home work. In my opinion, this is the book that every parent should have at their disposal. ADHD is real and not just some scientific jargon. If it has the potential to mar the future of a child, you need to find out ways to combat it.
