Publisher's Summary

Never trust a billionaire....

Aaron thinks he can have anything—or anyone—he wants, including me. But when I discovered I was the other woman, I vowed never to see him again.

Except he’s not the only one with a secret. When a chance meeting brings us together again, I can no longer hide the truth.

Now he wants what’s his—our six-year-old twins. And he insists I’m part of the deal. If I don’t marry him, I’ll be forced to give up my children.

I’ll do whatever it takes for the twins, only I’m not the innocent girl I once was, and there’s no way I’m giving him a second chance.

But when someone dangerous from my past comes looking for me, I start to see a new side to Aaron that makes me question what’s beneath his need for control.

Now the man I vowed never to trust may be the only person who can protect me....

Aaron’s Patience is book one in the Townsends of Williamsport series but is a stand-alone. The book contains graphic language, violence, discussion of assault and mental illness, and very steamy love scenes. Happily ever after is guaranteed in this BWWM romance.

Nope

This is one of my favorite books by Tiffany Patterson but the audible was lacking something. It was hard to listen to the book. I have started and stopped so many times. Eric Burr wasn't all bad but his female voice was bad. I think it might have been enjoyable if there was a female narrator.

Bad narration great story

I’ve read this book over and over a few times. I was so anxious for the audio version…. They narrator did not do Aaron justice. Not nearly broody or badass as he should have sounded. This guy was too animated for a good Townsen men…. Such a let down

Love this book...but

This is a great book. The narration on this was lacking. Not sure why the format changed but this definitely should have been dual narration.

Terrible narrator

I’ve have read this story several times and it’s good, great to tell the truth but this narrator is so bad I just can’t listen to it. I was very disappointed because I have this whole series and every book is good. Carter’s story on audio is good I don’t know what happened here but I just can’t listen to it 🥲.

Really good READ

This is an excellent story. This narrator is 'HORRIBLE' I super hope this author gets a do over for the narrator and go back to Mauri, Jocobe, York, any one of them and not this person. I have over 75 audible books and while some people are monotone, this person is awful.
The story once again is excellent please read it if you don't get the audible. Ms. Patterson get the person that did your other books not this guy. This guy ruins the story.

Great follow up book.

This book was well written and a great follow up to Carter's book. Credit well spent! Can't wait for the next book!

How could you do this to this book!

Let me preface this review by saying I love Tiffany Patterson's books! I have read all her books and this series I have read multiple times because I love it so much.
It was an injustice to do this to this book. The narrator, while he doesn't have a bad voice, is not capable of multi voices. He cannot do a believable female voice or distinguishing voices between the other characters!
I really want to buy the other books in this series but unless you get 2 good narrators.. I'll save my money!

it's ok

Aaron is completely too controlling and Patience seems to have no backbone.

I do not like men have such controlling issues. It starts to boarder on abusive. I do not have an issue with Alpha males but he goes beyond alpha. Maybe it's a trigger for me. This level of controlling shows lack of trust, security and respect.

It is a great read but wouldn't listen again.

I loved the book and reading it was far better than listening to it. The narrators voice just made you want to stop the audible immediately.

Great story

I really liked the narrator’s voice for most of the characters it was sometimes difficult to fully enjoy his female voices. He has such a deep and rich tone that I totally enjoyed but wish he had been paired with a female narrator.

Couldn’t finish it

Sorry but I had to quit this one about 1/3 of the way through it. Weak female letting herself get trampled on, just not my cup of tea. Threaten to take away a mumma’s kids and you release the Mumma bear, not turn into a weak damsel.
It reals of emotional abuse - definitely not for me
