Publisher's Summary

Absolute Zero is Book 12 - and the series finale - in the number one best-selling Agent Zero series, which begins with Agent Zero (Book 1), which has over 500 five-star reviews.

In the shocking series finale, Agent Zero learns of a powerful thermonuclear bomb which, set off in the right place, could kill tens of millions. In a breathtaking twist, he learns of something else that will make it even more deadly.

The fate of the world is literally at stake as Agent Zero finds himself in a mad race against time, the only person on the planet with a capacity to find the weapon.

Yet, while Zero races to find the location, he is up against other formidable forces: dozens of assassins are dispatched to kill him.

And in the midst of all this, the time has come for Zero to have a final reckoning with his own deteriorating health.

Full circle from his original discovery of the memory chip, Agent Zero is given one last chance to save the planet - if only he can keep from destroying himself - and everything in his path - in his wake.

Absolute Zero (Book 12) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you listening late into the night, and the satisfying and stunning climax to a masterful 12-book espionage action series.

Also available is Jack Mars’ number one best-selling Luke Stone Thriller series (seven books), which begins with Any Means Necessary (Book 1), a free download with over 800 five-star reviews!

Critic Reviews

“You will not sleep until you are finished with Agent Zero. A superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. The description of the action scenes transport us into a reality that is almost like sitting in a movie theater with surround sound and 3D (it would make an incredible Hollywood movie). I can hardly wait for the sequel.” (Roberto Mattos, Books and Movie Reviews)

The Zero Series

I listened to all of the Zero books. I gave the series a rating of three stars for a number of reasons, chief of which was less than three star dialogue.

I found myself mocking the protagonist because he was often saying stupid things that did not go with the character. Like saying “Wait a minute! You lied!” He was talking to a real bad guy. Of course he lied! He was the bad guy! Then, when the bad guy is trying to buy time, our protagonist is oblivious to this childish ruse. And another “Wait a minute” moment happens.

The reader did OK. However, when several characters are said to be saying something simultaneously, the idiot director, or producer, or what ever, over dubs several voices. This is just as bad as multiple readers of a single book and it is infuriating. But Brian did a good job with voices and accents.

Jack Mars needed to research aircraft more. Well, he needs to research a lot of things, but aircraft in particular. I would like to know what 4 seat airplane can fly for over 10 hours (his word) without stopping for fuel. The 4 seat airplanes I fly use 10 or more gallons per hour. And that is at altitudes above 4000’. in one book Zero flys to Morocco from the US. In the final book he flys from Morocco to the Caribbean. You would not fly across the Atlantic (diagonally!) unless your are able to carry a few hundred gallons of fuel. From Morocco to the Caribbean is over 4000 miles! In what?

Was it worth burning 12 credits? Not really, but I wanted to finish the story. Needless to say. I can’t justify spending any more on Jack Mars. He got my money for Zero, but that’s the end of the line.

Enough, please!

I bought the entire series and felt compelled to get through them all. After the first book, it rapidly went downhill. The most improbable stories, improbable last second "saves", and a cast of unlikable characters that change attitude and demeanor at the drop of a hat. 13 year superheroes who can outfox highly trained mercenaries? Here they are... 19 year old CIA agents sent on kill missions overseas? Yup. 12 year old assassins? Ok. Evil billionaire madman with zero security at his residence? It's here. I thought they shut it down with this hot mess of a story, but no... the door swung back open for a re-emergence. Everything else aside, the narration (after the first book) was just horrible. The voices all sound like cartoon characters, with Zero sounding like George Jetson. If you're "out", stay out. You cannot ever get back the time spent on this series.

Fun characters

I feel that if you are already at this point in the story, you know to expect a lot of things to be a bit unrealistic...after all, how many times can you single-handedly save the world? In some ways, you can expect some cookie cutter stuff going on, such as the extremely loyal sidekick of the hero, who rarely questions anything. No...
what I really love about this series are the characters. They really are fun! I especially love the girls. Hopefully he does a series where we continue with their lives, because I find them adorable.

***Zero never fails***

From the first book till now I’ve been captivated by this series. Agent Zero is an amazing character and the books are raw and delivers everything you would want in an action packed novel. I’ve laughed, cried, screamed and felt so taken with each character. Maya, Misha and Sarah are just amazing in their roles. I devoured this in a day. It’s always worth the wait.

Far fetched and ridiculous

As if the story of Zero wasn’t already getting ridiculous, now his youngest daughter along with the rookie daughter are using the “lingo” and fighting along side their dad. Good grief… don’t waste your credits.

Great Ending

I personally was really glad when I saw this book was finally available. I really enjoyed it, I was super excited, yet a little sad while listening to it. Because I knew this was the last one. I hope for another but unlikely. I really liked how the author showed the audience how the characters had grown throughout the series. The importance of friends and family was really well balanced to the action of the story. I will say I will be listening to them again and again. Thank you Mr Jack Mars for writing such a terrific series

Great ending to a great series

Loved the series. Hated to see it end. Hoping the author might bring agent zero back home at some point. Enjoyed all the characters and the narrator as well.
