As a college understudy I found this to be an priceless asset. I have went through so numerous hours tuning in things, hearing things, as it were to disregard them and need to think about them all once more come test time, and after that disregard them once more after the lesson is over. Numerous college students appear shockingly Alright with forgetting half of what they went through so much cash to memorize, I for one went through the money to know and keep in mind what I have been instructed. These strategies are worth a bar of gold.

Within the past I have utilized a few of the procedures portrayed within the book. However, after listening this book I have been able to memorize all my understudies names in one or two of hours instead of a week.

Waste of time

So to summarise, read faster so you can read more and learn more, some GCSE memory models m, keep repeating, learn things you enjoy and sleep more.

The 1970s want their research findings back

The first half is literally explaining the difference between skim and scan reading, some useful websites and how to calculate words per minute.

It genuinely irritates me that this is a published work when anyone with even a basic understanding of psychology could write this. It is disproportionate and muddled in its order and is filled with definitions you could get off google with very little explanation for how they can be implemented.

I literally learnt nothing from this which is disappointing as I had high hopes for this being in education and having a passion for psychology and in particular learning and memory.

This is not helped by the man reading it who is the dullest person on the planet, and ironically, while so much of the book is dedicated to speed reading he goes through the book at such a tediously slow pace it bores you in to submission. I actually had my headphones in for twenty minutes before I realised he had finished the book.

His French pronunciation is also pretty dire
