Publisher's Summary

Have you ever admired success in others? Do you want to achieve your goals faster?

We know we are not where we want to be and have not achieved our dreams. Some of us think we don’t have what it takes, and that achieving our goals is too daunting. We may have experienced painful failures in the past. Or maybe we think it’s not yet the time to make our move, so we delay taking any action.

The rest of us may think in terms of luck. We feel we were not born with a silver spoon, have no opportunities around us, or are not endowed with any natural talent. The list goes on.

This book is for everyone who struggles with self-doubt issues. It will teach you the skills, outcomes, and practices that will lead to your ultimate goal of finding your direction in life in a way that makes sense and with which you can associate.

It is not some rambling generalized do-it-yourself guide that leads nowhere. In this book, you’ll discover:

  • How to find your purpose in life and stand out from the crowd in the process
  • The four simple habits that will change your life for the better
  • The high-achievement triad (HAT) system for faster success
  • Insights into the skills and traits needed to make you a winner and an achiever
  • How to increase your confidence and become more assertive
  • How to understand achievement from a system and process perspective
  • How to lead and influence others so you can achieve your objectives
  • And much more…

This book aims to help its listeners become achievers of their vision by using the practical approach presented within its minutes. The author credits his successes and failures to the continual application of the four simple habits discussed in this book.

This book was written for people just like you: intelligent, willing to learn, willing to spend time and money to improve yourself. Are you ready to become an achiever? Then this audiobook is a must-have.

One of my favorite audio books

This has just become one of my favorite audio books. This book has changed the way I engage in self reflection. I found this book very helpful in understanding the concept of mindset regarding motivation and ability to improve. This book fully describes the ideas of growth vs. fixed mindsets, how they develop, and how they can be improved upon.

The author has the amazing ability to take information gleaned over a lifetime of research and experience and disseminate it in a form that is engaging and concise. The format is clear and easy to follow, especially considering the ambitious subject matter. This book is a valuable resource for anyone who is serious about achieving and becoming the best possible version of themselves. Furthermore, it gives a perspective on personality that is insightful and thoughtful that goes beyond the purely academic.

New and helpful twist on self improvement

New and helpful twist on self improvement. This audiobook is more relevant and applied than most of the other self improvement audiobooks I've listened to. The integration of personality traits with self-help strategies is excellent and leads to better and most lasting outcomes. Loved the narrator and the personal touches and humor.

I love this audio book!

I love this audio book! Its about getting to know yourself so you can go in the direction you want, and succeed! And its done with a combination of science, personal experience of the author, plus tried and tested results, all linked in together to create a truly quality book.

This is a great addition to the coaching literature for coaches and clients alike. The author skilfully uses evidence without making it academic to outline clear processes for success using a wide range of psychological theory.

It's awesome

I'm usually quite skeptical of any kind of self help book. But this book is easy to listen and breaks down the science behind achievement in a way that makes you think about changes you can make in your day to day. The book also doesn't beat around the bush- it's motivation and seems to not sugar coat that it takes work to get where you want to go. But while listening you have a sense that it's worth it. The advice sticks with you after you stop listening.

Self development

As a business owner, I never can be 100% certain how much of my success, failure, stress or celebration are the result of my own deliberate actions or other factors.

This book sheds light on the reality that a lot of my own limitations are in my head, and where to focus my self development going forward. I love that the book breaks it down into easy to understand and relatable concepts. Don't get me wrong, it's not a "just for dummies" book by any means. The author has a way of explaining things matter of fact, supporting it with scientific or other evidence, and then discussing the concept in greater detail. The author provides many additional resources from other authors for additional self development.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book.
The author has a real no nonsense style, there's no fluff just solid, factual, honest to goodness help.
If I'm really honest, I didn't think I'd learn anything new as I've listened heaps on goal setting, success and achievement already - but this delivered so many new insights, some of which blew me away. I have NEVER thought of using my personality traits to stack the odds in my favor and help me achieve.

This should be on everyone's phone

I have listened many self-help books and this is finally what I was looking for. It's not like the others that are out there where some "guru" provides you with a secret. The author gives the listener an evidence based, easy to follow guide on how to first know yourself and then be an improved version of yourself. Along with the science, you get real life stories, practicality and honesty. This should be on everyone's phone.

This book stands out

This book stands out as one of the more refreshing and engaging books I've listened in a long time. One of the things I liked most about this book was the philosophy that success (in all areas of our lives) depends on our ability to understand, accept, and integrate all aspects of our personality. Often we reject the parts of ourselves that we deem "unsuccessful"; however author demonstrates that success is born out of the ability to leverage our strengths while working with the more challenging aspects of our personalities.

Definitely benefit from this book!

I have gained so much from listening books on self improvement and personal growth over the years and I found this one to be top notch. I love how the author brings in your unique personality and tendencies while giving you actionable ways to implement the suggestions. This makes so much more sense than the cookie cutter approach similar books take to reaching your goals. If you are interested in improving your life and reaching the goals you've set for yourself, you will definitely benefit from this book!

Enjoy it and start now!

This book has set me on the path of purpose behind making goals and looking inwards for solutions rather than placing blame or frustrations on other people or environments

A truly inspiring listen, but the most important thing is the lessons around perseverance and will power.

Enjoy it and start now!

Lot of great ideas

There are a lot of great ideas that you can implement straight away. From Zero-based thinking when setting your goals to creative visualization as an essential element in calling them in. I've been working hard and have a lot of diffuse pieces floating around. The book gave me the ability to focus all those diffuse pieces into a laser precision. The results I've been looking for will happen now that understand these principles better.

One of the best book I have listened

One of the best book I've listened yet. It really puts you on the right track to achieving the things you never thought you could. Who thought that all you needed to do was set a goal and write it down! It's just the taking action part that most people miss. Great book to get you started with how to set goals and use them to achieve great things.

This book is great

This book is great. If you tend to procrastinate which I'm guilty of from time to time, this snaps you back to the focus that you need to get what you want out of life. I'm not sure about the part where he makes it sound a bit too easy, it takes concentration and focus but isn't that why you would buy the book in the first place. That was my reason. I needed the mental boost.
