Publisher's Summary

Have you heard about ADHD? Do you want to know more about it? Are you having trouble raising an ADHD child? If yes, this is the right audiobook for you! If you’re a parent to a child with ADHD, it might seem like there’s little hope for the future. But don’t worry, plenty of parents have raised successful ADHD children.

ADHD is defined as having a disorder that affects how your mind works and how you process information. The symptoms include short attention span, distractibility (especially with homework), oversleeping, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and often the inability to sit still and focus on work for more than ten minutes at a time. Even children who appear to have unending problems can become successful adults. Studies have shown that many people diagnosed with ADHD can work in careers that allow them to use their strengths while minimizing the issues they face because of their disorder.

For example, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb and had over 1,000 patents in his name. He was able to work hard to achieve his goals because of his ADHD condition. But that’s not all; famous people with ADHD also include Michael Jordan (the greatest basketball player in history), and even Oprah Winfrey (arguably one of the most influential people in America).

This audiobook covers:

  • Understanding children with ADHD
  • Parents and ADHD children
  • ADHD skills and development
  • Pros and cons of being ADHD
  • ADHD and IQ
  • Diet and exercises
  • 11 useful parenting tips
  • And much more!

ADHD can be a genetic condition, but it doesn’t mean that it is something you must surrender to. Instead of feeling guilty, you should work hard to help your child with their problems.

Negative and unhelpful.

Disappointing and full of judgmental language and pointing out faults in parents and potential faults in children with adhd. So much is dedicated to this I gave up fast forwarding to any positivity as there is little here! Not very helpful at all for a parent looking for help. Not to mention the voice, not sure how they ended up narrating but very difficult to follow. Best avoided unless you like robot voices telling you all the difficulties your child with this ‘problem’ might have.
