Publisher's Summary

From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes an angst-filled romance about what happens after the happily-ever-after for a bad boy biker and the woman he corrupted....

I was settin’ up to live a good life, the kinda life I’d fought hard to deserve.

With a good woman - the best woman - at my side, a degree under my belt, and the whole world at my feet, I was livin’ the kinda happily ever after usually denied the rebellious and the criminal. I’d turned my back on that kinda life, thinkin’ I needed that clean, wholesome kinda happy.

Then the devil came dressed in the wings of an angel and took someone from me.

And I realized I was wrong.

There was no clean and wholesome for a man like me with poetry in his heart and outlaw in his blood. The life I’d been livin’ was only purgatory, holding me over until the time came for me to descend into Hell and pick up the tarnished crown that awaited me.

I was condemning my woman to a life of violence, blood, and heartache, but I had to hope she’d step up and finally be the rough-and-tumble queen to my fallen MC king.

After the Fall can be listened to as a stand-alone romance, but you first meet the couple in Lessons in Corruption (The Fallen Men, #1).

THIS BOOK.. & THE WHOLE SERIES IS EPIC & AWESOME

I first purchased Book 4 in this thrilling series because hello.. a gritty MC love story + Jacob Morgan + Savannah Peachwood +++ Jason Clarke must surely be great ❤️. However, just a couple of chapters in, and I knew I had to start at the very beginning because I felt the awesome and I clearly didn’t want to miss a thing.. plus I really wanted to get to know each and every one of these damaged biker’s stories. And I’ve been submerged for over a week in their beautiful and darkly twisted world.. riveted to their suspenseful, passionate and dirty lives.. and utterly devoted to the men and women who fight hard for their happy ever afters. A loyal loving brotherhood possessive, obsessive and all fiercely protective over the strong women they give their hearts to.. but in Priest’s story his badly scarred body and soul makes him feel unworthy of his Angel’s love. But she will prove him wrong, she will push his boundaries, she will break his walls down, she will touch what others cannot touch and she will see what no-one else has seen.. and she will show her beautiful, savage, psychopath, killer Enforcer love. Unfortunately though.. no, catistrophically, there is an ungodly God-fearing psychopath hiding in plain sight who has other plans for Bea.. and the brutal chilling killings is his message to her - and to everyone else, that she is destined to be his.

Worth a credit? Yes.. and I’ve happily spent 6 credits getting to this point in The Fallen Men series, and I’ve been thrilled with each and every one. Awed by Giana Darling’s world-building, her ability to give beautiful and sweet.. then dangerous and deadly.. and tragic tears and joy. Her skilful web-building of different romantic and emotional plots within the same sinister sub-plot until now have age-gap romances.. and, like this book, the dual POV’s, the characters and the feels were all brought to life by very talented narrators who made them very addictive five star audiobook.

It was alright…

I LOVED Zeus’ story. Skipped over HR’s because I’m not interested right now… This story, while it was nice, there were a lot of rehashing and made story even longer… to be honest Cress(?) wasn’t thaaaaaat interesting… and I usually enjoy Ms. Peachwood’s narration but here felt drawn out and sooooo slow.. I sped it up sometimes but gosh! Jacob Morgan’s voice is… chef’s kiss every single time and was one of the reason’s I got this. He really could have done the whole book and some of the Cress parts could have been deleted…I just wanted to hear about Nova… I believe it’s the next one.

The story is sweet in general, it’s about Zeus’ first born, King Kyle Garro. Actually King and Cressida (at times it felt like Cress’s story) and their live while in the MC, their relationship with other members and continuation of the police corruption until he, King found a way to put a stop to it… now did he? Going to the next story.

Is it worth it? Well, if you like drawn out heroines then yes… the story was nice so if you are already into the series? Also, yes. I don’t know if it can really be enjoyed as a stand-alone unless you’ve at least gotten Zeus’ story, book one.
I could have skipped this and been okay but Jacob Morgan lol

Enjoy.

I can't even.....so freaking good.

Read them in order, the series, so when you get to this story you can feel it in your bones. This is a tale that transcends the labels of romance or biker. Do it the honor of coming to you whole with it's foundation in place or you will rob yourself the depth .

Amazing!

I typically avoid books in a series that feature a couple who've already had a book wrapped up, so put this off for a while. I adored King and Cress so so so much though that I knew even if it wasn't phenomenal I'd enjoy it just for the fact that I'd get to see a legit bad ass man who has the sweetest heart created by an author talented enough to pull off a character who is both the hardest and softest and actually make it work. You buy in all the way. It's such a hard balance and a majority of the times the mark is missed, but with King...it's the blueprint if balancing a sweet bad ass OTT alpha.

I'm so glad I finally listened to it because it was amazing! Not just because of the nostalgia or being able to see this couple again, but because it was a solid story. Brand new with familiarity. It never felt like a repeat of their original. It wasn't boring at any point and there was no repetition. Some tiny flashbacks, but placed well.

The performances are awesome, as always.

The only con IMO is the cringe whenever Cress tries to tell like a biker and uses slang or refers to herself as "the queen" It just feels so cringey. Soooo cringey. However, the good makes it easy to overlook immediately.

Also, the feels. OMG the feels. Even knowing what the end result was from reading spoiler reviews I still road that emotional Rollercoaster right along with the characters. Felt it in my soul.

Strongly recommend.

I’m not too sure why I waited so long to read this book. Maybe it was bc I found Cres to be super annoying in the first book. She turned into a courageous woman with the balls a steel. What ever it was i am happy I finally got my hands on this one.

King is definitely my ultimate book boyfriend. He was a bad a$$ alpha male who went above and beyond to protect the woman he loves. Literally!

I absolutely LOVED the epilogue!!! Angel and Aries were mentioned subtly. Another age gap in the making!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal

I’m obsessed with this series. This particular book in the series is my favorite. I love the fact that Jacob Morgan voices King! I’ve read the physical books and I will absolutely buy all of the audiobooks as well.

MUST READ

This book will definitely hold your interest and keep you riveted to your seat. The Garro men love their women and their families more than life itself. And the Garro women love their men and families even more. And seeing how they all interact with the club members as well as their enemies will definitely keep you on your toes. This book is a definite keeper.

I absolutely loved this book. I've always loved King and Crew but do more now. This story will make you cry, laugh and want to punch someone. near the end I was ready to scream but I push o. and was rewarded nicely. I !I've TBE voices of each of the narrators. They bring the characters to life.

Heartwrenching and hot!

Ohhh, my heart. I knew this was a heart-wrencher going in, but I didn’t expect THAT! It’s only my hopelessly romantic hopeful heart that kept me from completely breaking apart. Ugh. King and Cressida. The first couple by Giana Darling that I’ve met. They’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

However, and it hurts me to say that, it would have been even better if the first half was a bit shorter. It kinda had a filling character for me, especially after their original book ended so wonderfully.

With that out of the way, the Fallen MC is one of my absolute favorite biker romances. I just love this bunch of characters so much. Their bond, the love they share, the found family, the emotion, and not to forget the curveballs Ms. Darling loves to throw their and our way. Oh, and the steam. The. Steam. Whew. Fans self.

The audio is brought to life by Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan, with a special appearance by Jason Clarke. Three of my absolute favorite narrators in one book. This bookworm was in audio book heaven.

This book almost destroyed me

THIS BOOK IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

Narrators Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan did an incredible job as always💕

King and Cress are back and more in love than ever, but true love never runs smoothly as Sergeant Danner is about to put a major spanner in the works with a plot twist you will not see coming.
This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I can’t wait until the next audiobook comes out.

+18 Dark MC Romance - age-gap, teacher-student

This is part 2 to King + Cressida's story and is Book 4 in The Fallen Men series.

4/5 🌶

Recommend reading this book as part of the series.

I also will say one thing - trust the process. There are some real sad and emotional moments but remember, this is a romance book first and foremost. 👀

- age gap
- br33ding k!nk
- teacher-student (previously)

This book is light on story to be honest, it is all about Cress + King and then there's a huge plot point that leads to things to finally speed up in terms of the overarching plot. Could've been a long novella but hey, love Cress + King so happy to read another book about them.

Be prepared to cry. But remember what I said!

Wow

This was a great catch up book about what was happening in King and Cressida, and the whole club’s life. Was a great ride with the characters. Filled in a few questions from the Good gone bad book.
Narration was awesome.
