If you want to manage projects like a pro, this audiobook is for you.

Why do you want to become better at project management?

Maybe your job has something to do with planning and managing projects and you want to get better at your job.

Maybe you’re a business owner and you want to grow an efficient and flexible business.

Maybe you’re a parent and you’re just trying to make your household run smoothly.

Projects are literally everywhere. Every set of actions that serves a definite goal is a project. Designing a spaceship is a project, but getting your house painted is a project too, and you can use the same techniques for managing a wide variety of projects.

But how do you learn project management? If you start by googling it, you’ll be immediately overwhelmed by confusing jargon and the wide variety of seemingly conflicting methodologies. What is agile, scrum, kanban, and lean? Are these just fancy buzzwords (spoiler: no)? What do they actually mean?

Fortunately, you’ve got this audiobook. It will untangle your confusion, satisfy your curiosity and show you how to implement cutting-edge project management methods that have brought companies millions of dollars with their efficiency-boosting, cost-reducing magic.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • How kanban can revolutionize your work and life
  • Expert tips for planning a good scrum

You’ll benefit from this audiobook even if your job title doesn’t say “Project Manager”. In fact, you can apply advanced project management techniques in your household as well - this will ensure that your kitchen renovation gets done on time, you never run out of laundry detergent, and everyone in the family actually does their chores. Just pick one small project and try to manage it with some of the techniques you’ll learn in this audiobook – the results will amaze you!

Agile methods will change the way you get things done. Don’t hesitate, try them now.

All the 5 star reviews must be fake.

This audiobook seems like it's being read by a computer and translated from some other language to English very poorly. Extremely hard to follow and sub words in many sentences don't make any sense.

If you read all of those five star reviews carefully you'll see they all have similar tone and Ted or as if they were written by the same person over and over and over. I did not pay attention to that until after I started to listen to this book and after 20 minutes of giving up because it's really hard to follow.

Poorly written and hard to follow

I listened to the first chapter and struggled to understand the meaning of various sentences. The reading is clear but the script being read makes little sense at times. This distracts from the concepts the listener is trying to understand. There are other audiobooks much better written than this one.

Talks of why but not how

This books speaks about why Agile is great and talks about its ability to do everything under the sun without talking about how to use it. The author keeps throwing jargon which would make sense to Agile experts, but it's not experts buying this book

This audiobook has given me some exceptional foundation about the progress of the program and dominating energy about the essential arrangements of Agile and its reasonable applications. The significant examinations exhibited were particularly valuable.

Alot of theory

This reminded me of my student days when completing a MSc in project management. There is theory yet no case studies or how to actually apply agile as a Project trait.

I had thought this would be useful as a PM professional yet its alot of theory without true application of how to apply it, hence the rating.
