Publisher's Summary

They won’t release me until I breed with the alien beast….

After crashing onto a desert planet filled with alien savages, I find myself struggling to survive. My sister relies on me for her medicine, so I must get back to her.

Problem is, a lone alien with an intense stare and brands on his chest has been stalking me from afar. When he finally approaches me, I’m surprised to learn he wants to help.

But just as I’m given this lifeline, we're both captured by a savage tribe. They want him to take me by force, to prove to everyone that he’s the vicious beast they say he is.

Either he claims me, or all the warriors of the tribe will. We both have the same priority—survival. But will I make it out of this trial the same person?

Or will our mating transform me entirely, inside and out?

Exiled, lonely male finds his fated mate

Story review: Ava (h) is on a shuttle which crash lands in the remote desert on the alien planet's she's been working on. She has to battle alien creatures to survive but finds herself in even more danger when she's captured by one of the insular oasis tribes of the desert, the Vex. They plan to give Ava to one of their tribesmen for breeding purposes. Luckily for Ava, Drifter (H) an exiled male from another tribe has been observing her and rescues her. Drifter senses Ava is his mate but is hesitant to act on his feelings for her since Ava needs to leave the planet to care for her terminally ill sister. The pair will face action, adventure and threats before they'll finally be able to reach safety and their HEA. So hot, sexy and intense. I loved how different Drifter is from so many of his tribesmen and how caring he is towards his fated mate.

Audio review: Narrator was very good for the various characters in the story - her voice worked well, even for Drifter and other male voices.

A well written female lead

Our hero drifter was honestly perfectly written. He had just the right amount of strength mixed with the right amount of care.
Even the heroine was surprisingly well written. A sad reality of romance novels is that often heroines are overlooked in their complexity in favor of perfect heroes. Ava's shuttle started to come apart and she was still strapped to her seat. she came around, she was in a witch doctor's hut. She started examining her, poking and prodding her. To check if she was fertile! Ava got the idea of what they had planned for her. I like the mouthy girl, hot silent mountain of a man, and adventure galore. But where is the SEX! Half way through the book and nothing. A lot of close calls and a lot of tension. This book was full of twists and turns. If you like aliens and a good story line you’ll like these characters.

Needs male narrator

The storyline was fine; however, I couldn’t take Blau’s male narration, it was dry, robotic, and not deep or masculine enough. Couldn’t wait until story ended for this reason. Hope a male narrator is added to remaining books. I won’t listen to the rest of the series if no changes are made.

Another great one!

I loved this book. The audio itself was great. I always enjoy a good Ivy Sparks book. There are a few triggers and *public* scenes in these books.

Alien Seed!

This is an intriguing story with action and suspense. The story is about Ava and Drifter. She works on an alien planet for a mining corporation. Her goal is to provide medical help for her sister. Ava is on the ship when an explosion happens and she is sent to the desert floor. As darkness falls she is attacked by a creature. Drifter, who has been exiled from his tribe. witnesses her defending herself. He fills a connection with her. Just as he is going to help her she is captured. These two find a common ground and connection. The story is good and I love the characters.

An Incredible Journey

Narrated by Azalea Blau, this audio took me on an epic journey along with Drifter and Ava. From a crash landing to kidnapping to a rescue and a long journey through the desert, Ava and Drifter’s journey to medicine for Ava’s sister and a happy ending takes a lot of detours, making for a phenomenal story. A new-ish author and narrator for me, but I’ll be looking for more from both in the future.

Drifter

I can not say enough how much I enjoyed this story. I loved began able to see both points of view and fell in love with Drifter. They are both strong survivors who do not need to rely on each other but come together to help one another in their time of need.

Drifter and Ava

Omg does anyone else have that feeling where you heart almost sighs? When somthing swoony happens, or even when someone gets the HEA they so justly deserve after along road! This is so that book.

Plus those steamy scenes ... woo! 🥵 so well done!!

Also the narrator is grade A top notch!! This may sound a tad childish but I love when the narrator (especially when it's only 1 for 2 Pov or more) does different voices for everyone. She does amazing this whole story, very consistent as well!.

exiled and alone.

I found this extremely fascinating, several different alien species and then the Zekki. There are different tribes with different way of how they rule, it's something I really enjoyed reading about. Ava and Drifter are wonderful characters, Ava been a strong, feisty woman with such determination to survive for her sister's sake. Then there's Drifter, a Zekki warrior who suffered at the hands of his tribe. He's left to survive in the desert alone, but his exceptional skills serve him well. As all good stories go, things go wrong for the pair off them bringing them together. The narrator does a fantastic job performing as both characters, I especially love how her voice changes when portraying Drifter. This is the first book in the series, it ends with no cliffhanger. Everything ties up in a beautiful happily ever after, I am looking forward to the next book coming to audiobook on here. I fully intend to get the whole series.
