Publisher's Summary

All of Alvirah's deductive powers and Willy's world-class common sense are called upon as the two stumble into a Christmas mystery. A woman abandons her newborn at a Manhattan church. Simultaneously, a thief is absconding with a treasured artifact, a chalice adorned with a star-shaped diamond. To elude police, he grabs the stroller and disappears.

Seven years later, the mother returns to the scene and finds Alvirah and Willy helping neighborhood kids prepare for a Christmas pageant at an after-school shelter. Soon the savvy sleuths set out to solve the puzzle of the missing child and chalice - and to unmask scam artists threatening to shut down the shelter.

CAN'T GO WRONG WITH CLARK

I love Alyvia and Willy and any story with them is great! Here is a great Christmas story with Willy "tickling the ivories" with a wonderful song. This is a great story and I hope you will enjoy it!

A bit too Hallmarkish

I like most of Higgins Clark’s books but I have to say this one was a bit cheesy.

No silent Christmas here

No silent Christmas hereAnd enjoyable book. Want to help surround a bit and keeps you guessing. The characters are a little older which sometimes I like and sometimes I feel there’s an over abundance. I also enjoy reading about the young. A good mystery once your house is going to end and I love reading about my faith, Christmas stories touched with a bit of a mystery

Lovely Story

Loved this story, a nice light read which had a way of tugging at the heart strings with 'Christmas' being so close and the need for the result to good.
Easy story to listen to in bed or at work.
