Cheesy but great

All You Need is Love is a little cheesy, but covers the difficult topic of loss and disappointment in a sweet but respectful manner. This underlying message in this book is one of kindness, patience and support.

Back forth too much

I thought the story had potential but midway it went way down hill. Back and forth, rinse, repeat… over and over. The Sam narrator talked so slow at times I had to check and see if it was still on. I do not recommend.

Very predictable

This story went on way to long. The ending was drawn out and predictable. I usually really enjoy her books. This one needed something else to make it interesting.

A well rounded tale

I found this story to be surprising and heartwarming because the characters were real, not impulsive without reason, grounded in their value system. It is not just a sugary sweet romance. It deals with real life struggles but as they call on their family and friends to help them, true healing occurs and becomes a shared experience.
If you’re in the grieving process or know someone who is, this book could be just the distraction you need.
Although I didn’t always agree with how the characters acted, I completely enjoyed this book!

Another great narrative

Jessica is an author that is going from strength to strength in her writing. Her narratives leaves you in no doubt that she LOVES her characters. If you know her books from the beginning you will hear names mentioned and go “ ah yes “. Well I did. Each book I e listened to so far I Think Jessica’s storyline can’t get better. However I am beginning to realise that basically the best is yet to come. Even though I think this is best so far. As the song goes “ if you start at the very beginning it’s a very good place to start”.

Another lovely heart warming story by Jessica Redl

I have just finished listening to the All you need is love Audible by Jessica Redland . Love the male and female narrators.
Lovely story with many elaborate twists and turns. There is a touch of love, loss, managing with life changing situations and as ever the strong friendships. I want a Teddy bear shop too now. *****

A lovely warming read

This was really a lovely read, some twists and turns, social media stalking, dealing with aging parents and a realistic feeling romance that left me feeling happy. It was cute and loved the references to the fictional northern seaside town. I listened on audible and the narrators were great. My only negative is the overuse of Gemma describing her emotions as “my stomach fizzed”

main character has a ..

carbonation problem. never heard someone described as fizzy quite so much! At the moment I keep accidentally getting audio books with a theme of dementia - something I would prefer not to have to deal with in my fictional life as well as real so if that is something that might upset you know that it's touched in here too. Otherwise a standard 3star romance, which is a good rating in my opinion but not a life changing tale, I enjoy the cosy whitsborough bay tales as they feel like I'm back home.

Spine tinglingly Gorgeous

The story is so totally relatable to Most people for sure
It’s one of the best audible books I’ve had the pleasure to listen too.
Recommend for an easy listen with a few tears shed and situations that help the listener to see both sides of it.
It touches on a lot of your emotions for sure
The narrators are fantastic ! 👌

Love the connection of characters

Jessica Redland books are simply brilliant. Easy to listen to and connect beautifully with the linked characters in other books who also live in The Bay. I love Lucy Brownhill narration and Gareth Bennet-Ryan in this book particular. As much as I would like to finish the collection with the hedgehog series I can not get passed Emma Swans narration. I will have to find time to read them instead of audible.

Really lovely Story

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The narrators were excellent which to me is very important. The story was excellent too. This is the first book I’ve listened to so quick. Found I couldn’t put it down. Off to look for another by this group I enjoyed it so much.

liked it

I liked the fact there were 2 narrators and they were good, as was the storyline, but they might have had a conversation prior to reading as the voice of Sam's mother as she had a Yorkshire accent read by the female narrator and a Geordie accent read by the male narrator! The terms 'ghosted' and 'my stomach fizzed' were overused to the point that it annoyed me. Apart from that a pleasant listen.

Too long winded

Hard going and very predictable. Narrative annoying and the reading of the text messages between the characters drove me mad.
