Publisher's Summary

The blockbuster co-writing debut of Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Herman, All of Us Villains begins a dark tale of ambition and magick....

You fell in love with the victors of The Hunger Games. Now, prepare to meet the villains of the Blood Veil.

The Blood Moon rises. The Blood Veil falls. The Tournament begins.

Every generation, at the coming of the Blood Moon, seven families in the remote city of Ilvernath each name a champion to compete in a tournament to the death.

The prize? Exclusive control over a secret wellspring of high magick, the most powerful resource in the world - one thought long depleted.

This year, thanks to a salacious tell-all book, the seven champions are thrust into worldwide spotlight, granting each of them new information, new means to win, and most importantly, a choice: Accept their fate or rewrite their story.

But this is a story that must be penned in blood.

Audiobook has issues

One chapter is missing, another repeats itself, and another is out of order. There are also a few glitches in the sound that cut off parts of a sentence.

Warning, DO NOT USE A CREDIT ON THIS BOOK!

Warning, do not use a credit on this book, a chapter repeats itself and some chapters are out of order or missing. I emailed customer service about it but got no solution that worked to fix the problem. REVIEW- I really wanted to like this book but something about the ending felt unfinished. Idk if it’s because the audio book chapters were out of order. But, overall the book was okay.

Chapters are messed up

So one chapter repeats itself and towards the end one of gavins is out of order. Otherwise the story/book was good. Sometimes a bit slow or too on the nose, not enough showing/reading between the lines. I also felt like the love connection was a bit forced. I liked it but would have liked it more if it came a bit more gradually. It does have a cliff hanger ending FYI.

Hunger Games Meets Harry Potter

Very unique and entertaining. A dark tale of magic and murder. Seven champions are chosen from seven families to compete in a tournament to the death, the prize: control over high magic. But, the stakes are higher than that this time around. You'll follow a cast of characters as they fight, ally, betray, and kill each other...until the cliffhanger ending! Can't wait for the next book!

Chapters out of order

The story is amazing. However some of the chapters are out of order compared to the text of the book.

disappointing

i was intrigued by the premise of this story (fantasy hunger games) but very disappointed with the results. the characters were lackluster and none of them had a convincing arc throughout the story. i didn’t feel connected to any of them. i got bored halfway through listening, but the voice actors were both pretty good. unfortunately, the story just got worse—the tournament doesn’t finish before it ends! wouldn’t recommend.

Whaaat?!

Ok, I was so excited for this book. Villains meet Harry Potter meets Hunger Games… enough said. Loved hearing from all the different characters and how they are going into the tournament as well as how they grow through out.
But the ending??? Ahhhh no!!! I just…. I’m still baffled.

It’s really good. Well written and it’s fun to see which characters you like from the start and who you still like at the end.

What ending?

I really loved this up until the end. It felt unfinished and not in a good way.
