Not as good as the first book

I read the first book in the series and like it, so I was excited to get this one. This storyline is so very weak, it could have been written in a chapter or two. The protagonist is a weak, whiny female that is consumed with her own insecurities. Add to that a narrator that literally does the whining for her in a nasally tone, it was nearly impossible for me to finish. I would not recommend unless you're into a lot of eye rolling. I'll skip the next installment in the series...

Keeps you hanging

Loved this book. Keeps you engaged & guessing with every twist & turn. Narration is excellent, too. Kudos to Lisa Jackson & Christine Williams. Highly recommend.

Ehh

This story lags and then runs. The unexpected twists keep you listening but some of the dialogue makes you want to turn it off. The vocabulary and ability to talk in sentences of an 18 month old is ridiculous. I seriously don’t understand why the editors of this book didn’t provide more support to the author. This could have been a great book, but instead it’s just mediocre.
