Publisher's Summary

A few years ago, when his sister went missing, Haggard Crow turned into something he never wanted to be. A killer.

Even after his sister is rescued a year after she was kidnapped and sold, Haggard "Thief" Crow doesn’t have any plans on changing. He sort of likes the zero-f--ks-given guy that he is now.

Bonus points, he saves women and children from extreme situations, along with his club and real life brothers by his side.

After a horrible marriage, Haggard has zero plans of ever finding a woman again. One-night stands not counting, he adores his life as a single man. There are no expectations. No "where are yous" and "are you coming homes".

The life he chooses to live is a simple one. Until he makes a huge mistake, and he steps over that line between "daughter’s best friend" and "a woman he desperately wants".

Before long, he can’t stop thinking about her. Can’t stop wanting her. Can’t stop feeling things for her that a man 20 years her senior should never feel for a girl he watched grow up.

After one lapse in judgment, he decides she needs to go. But the funny thing is, he never expected Sophia Madden to fight back. And dirty at that.

Tear Jerker have your tissues ready !!

Definitely listen/Read Coup de Grace in Code 11 Swat Series to get a tiny glimpse as to how the Madden family came about. I can tell you that I finished this listen 2 hours ago and I am still tearing up with the events in this book. LLV always gets me with these feelings. It’s worth a listen/read but be prepared to ugly cry!! There’s a twist that I wasn’t prepared for. Check it out if you love your bad boy biker and age gap love story.

I can never get tired of this book, I'm obsessed with it. These two narrators did a really good job, well done.

WORTH WAITING FOR!

Liked everything about the story! Even the heartbreaking parts.

I had forgotten about Madden and his babies from "Coup De Grace". It was good, and bittersweet to read about them.

The story is as sweet as it is heartbreaking.

Always happy to see bad guys pay for their misdeeds!

I love it that we get our wonderful epilogues, with the Happily Ever Afters, including a few years into the future, and this one was no exception.

The narrators were great!

Recommended audiobook.

To many questions and no details.

It’s almost on impulse that I buy these now. But it’s just not worth the credit.
Lack of detail.
No plot.
To many things left unanswered.
To many recycled items.
The story just isn’t there and what is it’s worth reading.

Great story…one thing I have an issue with *spoilers ahead*

I really do love this story. BUT

**spoilers**

Who gets no broken bones when they are run over a car?! And twice?! Sophia is run over by a car and doesn’t sustain anything more serious than bruises?? I knew a kid who got his foot run over by one tire and it broke. Sophia was run over by the front and read passenger side tire and nothing was broken?! That’s so unrealistic it made it silly

*spoilers end*

The rest of the story is great, but that silliness made the story 4 stars instead of bad. Cause it is so ridiculous. The listeners and readers aren’t stupid. Stop writing like they(we) are!!

OMG so amazing!

I absolutely loved this book!!! One of the very best. Maybe I love an age gap romance, or Dad's best friend!! Whatever the reason, it was one of my very favorites truly. There were all the feels in this book! I went from happy, to sad, to scared, to really sad, the happy again. Again. so amazing!!! Ty LLV! And great job narrating!!

A good story

I really loved this story it was great, but unfortunately both narrators certainly did not in my opinion do this story justice. In fact twice I nearly gave up on the story to buy the book because narration was bad
