Publisher's Summary

I’m one of the eight young women abducted by aliens from college! Before I even wake up from my abduction, I'm “rescued” from the shuttle that crashed here on their prison planet. My rescuer is different, though, with mismatched eyes and a language I can’t understand.

But as I’m coming to terms with everything around me, I become a pawn in a tug-of-war between my new rescuer and a group of unhappy aliens. They are determined to break away from their prison, taking everything of value with them - and that includes me!

Amari's Adored is the sequel to Bren's Blessing (the first book of the Quasar Lineage) and Matthias's Miracle (the second book of the Quasar Lineage). You don't have to read/listen to Bren's Blessing or Matthias’s Miracle in order to understand the plot, but the story will be more well rounded if you do. It's part of a science fiction romance series but can be listened to as a stand-alone story with no cliff-hangers!

Please note: This sci-fi alien romance contains adult language and steamy adult bedroom scenes. It is intended for listeners over 18.

A Wonderful Sci-fi Romance

The Quasar Lineage is a fantastic sci-fi romance series, it's wonderfully written, and it gets better and better with each installment. The first two books were, fabulous and the third, Amari's Adored, is even better. The storyline is a satisfying galactic adventure, packed with drama, suspense, romance, and steam. The main characters, Rachel and Amari, are appealing, diverse, and bold with painful pasts. I adored the way they connected and communicated with gestures and body language. As for the chemistry, it was absolutely off-the-charts.

Stellar performances by Randi Johnson and Kelsey Navarro. Both narrators captured the nuances of the characters, bringing them to life. Amari's Adored is a very entertaining sci-fi romance, one I strongly recommend. I received a promotional copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is given voluntarily.

A Good Edition to the Series

Rating: ❤️❤️❤️.5
Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥
Narrator Performance: Female: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 Male: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

AMARI'S ADORED starts just before book two timeline wise. And while I enjoyed the book so far it’s my least favorite of the series. In it we find out a little about the crash on the prison planet. We also find out about another one of the girls that was abducted, Rachel. Someone that we'd previously not realized was on the planet.

Right away we learn that there is something special and different about Rachel. I found Rachel's specialness cool but somewhat under developed plot wise and that left me disappointed. Amari too had something special about him. Something that even he didn’t know about. However when he learned about it very little info was given to him so we as readers know little about it. In fact, it sorta felt like the author just threw the detail into the mix with no idea where to go to from there. I can only hope that in future books the topic is discussed more because I wasn’t thrilled with the ending of this book. It felt unfinished.

I still find myself invested in this series. Although this book wasn’t my favorite I still think Tate's world building is unique and engrossing. She writes stories that run smoothly pace wise and gives each one a plot that works well within the series as well as separately so the books can stand on their own.

ABOUT THE NARRATORS:
Johnson and Navarro once again gave outstanding performances. They do a wonderful job of bringing the story to life. They compliment each other beautifully and their duet narration is very realistic.

I lived thru the male narrator

But it wasn't pleasant. He sounded like it was a kiddie comic book read by an old guy with false teeth. Female was good. Story was good.

Loved this story!

Story may have triggers. I found this story steamy and sweet even though it did have horrible abusive treatment for Amari I found it a very good story.

Danger and Love

Amari and Rachel are, of course, a perfect match. Both scorned for their “extra” abilities, they find kindred souls in each other - or, they would, if they spoke the same language. My heart was in my throat when Rachel was kidnapped and Amari had to rescue her - thank heavens, there’s a wonderful happy ending after all of that! Still fantastic narration by Randi Johnson and Kelsey Novarro.

Great book

This was only my third audio book. I get so invested in the stories it is probably a good thing I live alone so I can just spend a day enjoying the book with no breaks. I was sorry when the book ended even though no cliff hangers the story was such a lovely one I would be happy to know how the rest of their lives went. I am sure i will be purchasing more in this series. I loved this story so much I want to know what happens with others i met during the book too. I received this audiobook as an ARC and am leaving this review freely and of my own will.

Awesome alien abduction romance

This series keeps getting better. I so enjoyed this slow burn romance as Rachel and Amari struggle to communicate. A stand alone, with explicit sexual content and a HEA. Highly recommended. I was gifted an audio book and the dual narration really enhanced the experience. This is my honest and unsolicited opinion.

Spoiler alert!
Rachel is one of the eight women abducted from Earth who is in the shuttle that crashes on the prison planet. Amari was sent to the prison planet when aged 12 years as he was "different", marked by one brown and one blue eye. Amari escaped from the prison after years of abuse and lives in the wilderness, as do some other prisoners. In his daily reflections, Amari saw the arrival of the shuttle bringing someone important to him. So he waited hiding in the forest for many days until the shuttle appeared. He breaks into the shuttle and rescues an unconscious Rachel. Amari and Rachel have so much in common. Rachel has an awareness of the intentions of others, able to sense good and evil. So although unable to understand Amari's language, she senses only care and concern and of course attraction. Lots of action, a true page turner.

Stellar Series!

Book: Amari’s Adored (Book 3)
Author: Pearl Tate
Narrator(s): Randi Johnson, Kelsey Navarro

Did the Audiobook meet your expectations?
The third installment of The Quasar Lineage. This book although a standalone builds from the previous book. This is another excellent book.

How did the story make you feel?
This book is more of a slow burn rather than steamy. This book shows more of the discovery between Amari and Rachel as Amari is not sure what it means to have a mate or the understanding of his people’s culture.

Did the narrator make it easy to follow the story? Did you find the narrator’s voice fitting for the main protagonists(s)?
Randi and Kelsey have yet again provided the listener with an enjoyable story.

Do you recommend this audiobook and will you pick up more?
Pearl Tate has created a fantastic world in The Quasar Lineage series. I am looking forward to more from this series!

I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Amari's mate

I loved this book, the series just keeps getting better, its so addictive! Amari & Rachel's story is exciting but also sweet, but that doesn't mean it lacks any heat! The plot is action-packed with Rachel being abducted, then recued by Amari, but theres also the sub plot about the females abuse of power and the reappearance of mates, and keeps you wondering how far the conspiracy goes. I was hooked from the first book and am waiting with baited breath to see how long before book 4 comes to Audible, and what happens next.

Another fab addict to this addictive series

This is book three in the series and i think it does help if you read the other 2 books first. I didn't enjoy this box quite as much as i did the previous one. The two main characters spent too much time not being able to understand each other which i think it what was the let down for me. The story itself is very good and progresses through the books, although this one seemed to take place around the time timescale as book 2. I love how these books do leave you wondering what is going to happen next.
The narrators are without a shadow of a doubt one of the better duos i've seen and this series is the first time i've ever heard two narrators work the way these two do, where as most books with dual narrators tend to have each narrator reading relevent chapters it still leaves males trying to do female characters and visca versa which isn't always successful, these two do read the chapters as seen in the characters point of view but by having them work closely togther so that the main lead male is narrated by a man and visca versa i think it just fits so much better into the stories and you never have to worry about not knowing which character is speaking.
Definately 5* on the narration

Love this story and the narration

I love this series so much and this is such a great addition to it. I love how it's happening at roughly the same time as the last book and bits overlap, it all cements it further into their world which I really enjoy. Oh and I love their hair! So beautifully described I can see it. The narration of Rando Johnson and Kelsey Navarro just helps to pull me in further into the story, so much so I forget I'm listening to just two people. Such an enjoyable listen.
