Publisher's Summary
Back by popular demand! The further, fearsome, and funny adventures of Andrea Vernon and the Corporation for UltraHuman Protection - written by Alexander C. Kane and performed by Bahni Turpin, 2018 Audie Award winner for Best Female Narrator.
More than a year after she helped save the world from the Sparnaxian invasion, Andrea Vernon is in a good place. Her boss is giving her greater responsibility and she’s getting to travel a lot (although her fill-in is hopeless at making coffee); things could be getting even more serious with her 8’ 4” superhero boyfriend, The Big Axe; and she has a really fun new BFF, Never More.
Small issue, though, with that last item - Never More is a supervillain bent on world domination, and it looks as if nothing can stop her. Especially since Congress is determined to bring the Corporation for UltraHuman Protection and all of “Big Supe” under government control.
Even with mankind’s greatest heroes fighting back, will it fall on Andrea to save the day - again?

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. Editorial Review
Like being in a hilarious group chat with your pub trivia team In this superhero workplace comedy performed by Bahni Turpin, the juxtaposition of the fantastical and the mundane is pure delight. There are pop cultural references galore (a Third Eye Blind joke had me laughing out loud), punny superhero names (Great Gory Samsa), real-life locations (shout-out to Hoboken Terminal!), and tiny throwaway jokes that come satisfyingly full circle. If you love The Princess Bride and The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, this Audible Original is for you. —Robyn F., Social Media

Well actually, it's even better than the first one
Incredibly entertaining. No sophomore slump here - I thought the second book was even better than the first entry in the series. Some of the returning characters were more fully fleshed out (who knew Ms. O had such an interesting personal life?) and the introduction of Never More was a fantastic addition to the cast of characters.
Bahni Turpin's narration was, once again, beyond exceptional. She uses very distinct voices which beautifully suit each individual character. She has a huge range of inflections and accents - she's absolutely amazing.
Normally I hate cliff-hanger endings, but even though this book has them on multiple levels, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun listen. I'm positive it wouldn't be your biggest regret.

No one wants to hear someone screeching
This book would be a decent idea and a decent story if it wasn't for the absolutely horrible performance. The reader who uses a screeching voice as one of the characters has forgotten people had to hear this and listened to it!

Love this author
This is the third book I have listened to by this author. I have thoroughly enjoyed each one. I get odd looks at the gym when I bust out laughing while listening on my headphones. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life and is very good at adding extra comic relief to the story. I can hardly wait for the next one to come out

Sarcasm and unbelievably funny
Amazingly funny audiobook. Love the narrator and she does the point blank sarcasm and ridiculous lines with a clear strait forward voice. Seriously this series is great and the second is even better than the first, as long as you take absolutely nothing seriously. Great way to relax.

The Fun Continues
The craziness of Kane's 'Super'-filled world is once again on display in this enjoyable sequel.
Andrea, Persephone, The Big Axe and all the others at CUP face their greatest challenge with the same bravery and wacky humor. Characters grow and show new and sometimes surprising aspects.
Bahni Turpin is amazing! She switches accents from deep Texas to the Bronx to South Africa all within a few seconds and keeps them all straight and true to each character. I could almost always tell which character was speaking before the "said XYZ."
Can't wait for the next book!

oh god! The puns! They burnses! So many!!!
I don't recall the last time I laughed this hard or this long...
This is a true masterpiece of humour, puns and jokes...
If you didn't enjoy the humour of the first one, you should avoid this like the plague.
The actual story is nothing special, but Mr. Kane' telling of it is something else all together, and Ms. Turpin raises it to a whole new level.
So many wonderful voices with those little extra touches like Nevermore's crowing... Truly impressive <3

Not as good as the first book
Still funny, and super well read, but the plot's not as tightly written and it just drags a bit.
