Publisher's Summary

All paths lead to destruction in the new Torpedo Ink novel from number one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan.

Savin "Savage" Pajari is convinced he's not worth a damn thing. He's not like his brothers. He's a sadistic monster, a killer - a man no woman could truly love. So it completely throws him when a stranger risks her life for his, pushing him out of the way and taking the hit that would have sent him six feet under. If he had any kind of sense, he'd leave her alone, but Savage can't get the woman with a smart mouth and no sense of self-preservation out of his head. With one kiss, he's lost.

Seychelle Dubois has spent her entire life not feeling much of anything, until Savage comes along sets her whole body on fire. Kissing him had been a mistake. Letting him get close would be a catastrophe. He's the most beautiful - and damaged - man she's ever met. He has a way of getting under her skin, and what he's offering is too tempting to resist.

Seychelle knows so little about Savage or the dangerous world of Torpedo Ink, but his darkness draws her like a moth to a flame. Loving him could mean losing herself completely to his needs - needs she doesn't understand but is eager to learn. But what Savage teaches her could destroy her.

🌻Why the narrator change?and a cliffhanger?🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

This book was very different, from the previous books, in this series. First, the narrator changed. I love Ryan West but, I was used to the way Jim Frangione narrated this series, and with his ability to perform many different accents, he fit this series better.
Second, all the other books focused on a couple and , by the end of the book, the couple was settled into their lives, as a couple. This book was only part one of Savage and his lady’s journey to their HEA.
Lastly, all the previous books included an righteous fight, by the torpedo ink club, against some horrible, sex trafficking, child molesting monster. This book didn’t have much excitement, at all.

I really hope this two part story doesn’t become a new trend, in CF’s books. In addition I’m irritated that I have to wait another 3 weeks until the second half of this story.

I wanted to like it

I wanted to like this one, but I couldn't get past Chapter 4 and I had to fast forward through most of that. I can usually enjoy CF's books by fast forwarding through the explicit sex to get to the story. I never got to a story on this one.

Can’t wait for the next…

I loved this book! I have read the entire series and I always wondered how Christine Feehan was going to tell his story or if she was going to tell his story. She did a phenomenal job considering all the things Savage has been through. I can’t wait for the rest of his story!!!!

Disappointed

If ur a fan… you have to get the book because u just got to know what happens and how the characters develop….

But as a fan… I was actually disappointed and a bit upset while listening to the book. I didn’t want to finish it. Wanted to skip through some parts. Felt like the whole book was just SLOW in its entirety! I love me some Christine Feehan and all that she creates but I felt slighted with this one.
I usually don’t write review but I’m actually a bit upset after the book just ended. It just ended. I didn’t even see it coming. It just ended out the blue! This was just a weird book for me.

I still love you Christine and I can’t Waite for ur new book to come out on the 25th! 🥰. Sorry for the upsetting review

I love everything Christine Feehan has written…

until now. This was not what I expected from an extremely talented writer. She has created incredible worlds for us to enjoy and immerse ourselves in. I am disappointed that there was almost no content about torpedo ink the motorcycle club and the other characters. If the other part of savages story isn’t better that might be the last that I read this series.

Great story, good narrator

Great story as usual. I exist nothing less from the author especially in this series.
The change in narrator tripped me up. I miss Jim! Ryan is a lot more "breathy" than I got used to for this series. But once I got used to him he did a great job.

Slight issue, nothing major

Somewhere there is a mess up. What reads as Chapter 9 in the audio book is Chapter 8 in the paper back copy. I will amend if it straightens out further into the book. I do love the change up for the gentleman reading. Savage definitely needed a rougher sounding voice.

It's an audible error. Just the chapter headers. Something that can be easily remedied.

love feehan, but not this story

I love Christine Feehan and have read all of her series. this is the first book I have had a hard time finishing due to the story line. it was disjointed and the end incomplete. it won't stop me from continuing to listen to her series. the new narrator was fine. hard to hear a new voice, but the performance was well done

Pathetic and sad

This has got to be the most stupid and pathetic book I've read in , forever. A girl has not family but meets a biker and there's instant attraction for both of them, the girl is a Virgin but has feelings of liking bdsm . The biker tells her he can I only get off when he is sadistic to his partner's then proceeds to train. the girl to want whips etc to the point were she can't have sex without the sadistic and cruel things he does to her.
Really liked some parts of this book , but there was just too much cruelty in the name of sex and passion for it to say love for me.

Brilliant

The queen of erotic paranormal romance hits another home run with the story of Savin ‘Savage’ Pajari and Seychelle Dubois. They meet when Seychelle saves Savages life and she knows it’s a mistake to let him close because he sets her whole body on fire like no other man has ever been able to do. She finds him to be the most beautiful and irresistible man she has ever met and the most damaged along with it. She knows she should stay clear given her issues but when he kisses her she is lost to him and his dark allure. A story full of humour, bad people doing bad things and some scorching hot sexual interactions, a mix I can’t resist and no longer want to Christine has me with her stories and I await the next novel with baited breath. I highly recommend this story and the series as a whole, this is one MC I would join in a heartbeat and be very happy and excited about it.
