Reclaiming Your Life ..

 I promise you that if you read this book and follow the exercises, you will get better. I have personally struggled with anxiety and panic attacks for over 20 years, I've tried numerous therapists and so many different medications I've lost count. I was even told at one point that I had bipolar disorder. Nothing worked and I found myself at a point that I literally felt like I had no other options to get well.  When I started reading the book I was completely agoraphobic, depressed, constantly anxious, and having panic attacks to the point I felt like I couldn't go on any longer.

This book helped me much better understanding...

This book helped me have a much better understanding of panic and anxiety . It has literally been a life changer for me. I believe, this book , along with a couple of others, has helped me manage and prevent episodes without the use of medication.

I've battled with uneasiness for a long time now as far back as my absolute first fit of anxiety! This is exercise manual is so useful and causes you better get tension and stress. On the off chance that you are prepared to confront your uneasiness head on this is the book for you!

Couldn’t recommend this book enough!

I’ve had anxiety on and off now for just over 15 years starting when I was a teenager and tried various books, treatments & medication with not much success. The approach in this book is the first one that has actually worked for me and changed how I respond to the anxious thoughts, which iv been getting wrong all this time! The anxiety is still there but not as intense and I feel less bothered by the thoughts.

Narrator is reading a dry summary of a dry textbook - while seemingly medicated -
Everything in this book is so generic & psych 101 - horrible waste of time. Just read a Wikipedia article on anxiety - and save yourself the incredible waste of time -

Must Read if you have Loved Ones with Anxiety.

This was a very informative book. Not only did the other take the approach of explaining anxiety on a level for someone who might not have anxiety, he made it very easy to relate to the pressure and social aspect of anxiety.

Transforming

The author states personal experiences which for me is extremely helpful. She not only teaches but also does the practices herself. . I also appreciate the author’s emphasis on psychoeducation, as I found it helpful to understand what is causing dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors at a biological level.
