TerraMates ~ Up To No Good …. Again!

TerraMates is a really good series. Each book is different with a balance of drama, romance, and action with no cliffhangers. The stories can easily be read out of order.

You never know when TerraMates is going to do a legitimate business deal or something shady. In Auctioned to the Alpha, sadly TerraMates business deal is not entirely legit. Eden goes to TerraMates and signs up so she can get the credits to assist her family; however, she's drugged and wakes up auctioned off to Thiago. Lucky for Eden he's decent, and treats her good. Trouble comes knocking, when Thiago's ex-partner comes around. She really puts on a show, and acts all nice and helpful, but secretly she's devising a sinister plan.

The characters were good, but I really liked Thiago's pet, Hercules!

Samantha Leatherwood does a great job on the narration, and you can easily distinguish the different characters.

Received audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Eden

when they found Hercules' babies.

Any additional comments?

this is no five in the series. This book is one of my favorites I would love to see more about Eden and Thiago as bounty hunters. I think stories about them would make a great series. Eden goes to Terra mates and gets taken and then put up for auction. Thiago gets her and
then Eden starts to fit in. Of course when he tells her to stay put why he is out rounding up the criminals he is after, she does not. Seems like she is always in trouble. Even when he leaves her outside for a few moments she is falling off a cliff. Thank goodness there was someone there to help her. Of course it is an old friend of Thiagos. She just happened along and was there to save. Then when all seems to be going ok there comes betrayal and more kidnapping. Thank god it all finally all worked out. I received this book free from the author/narrator for a honest review.

I wanted to like it.

I was given this story for an honest review.

I have enjoyed the TerraMates series, but there was something about this one that just didn't sit right. I struggled with this one. I put it down and came it back to it thinking coming back to it would work. I just couldn't finish it. Part of the problem was TerraMates was portrayed as a kidnapping group rather than an actual agency that matched human women together with alien men. The attitude of the heroine also got on my nerves as well. She came across as spoiled and selfish. Rather than someone who is suddenly faced with aliens she didn't know existed and finds herself on a world where humans are treated less than 3rd citizens.

BOOK REVIEW.......
Another good story in the series. This book has everything you want in a book - romance, action, adventure, sexy aliens & suspense. Along with great characters and witty dialogue. This has turned into a must read series. I recommend this book.

NARRATOR REVIEW.......
This narrator does a good job of bringing the book to life.

Highly entertaining

Thiago is 1/2 human 1/2 alien bounty hunter, when he sees a human women being sold he just had to save her.
Edan us from new york and worked as an waitress until she got fired for defending herself, now she has no way to support her sick dad or her little sister. Seeing an ad for an arranged marriage company called TerraMates she looks them up. How bad can it be to marry a rich guy from another country when TerraMates will see to her safety.
Things do no go as promised because as soon as she signs the paper they drug her and she is taken off world.
Now there is only Thiago yo keep her safe and let's face it life isn't easy for a human in an alien world
Wow I really enjoyed this one lots of action with the bad guys and the characters are fun. If you are a SyFy fan you should love this.

Entertaining.

A girl from New York, a hunky alien bounty hunter and an oversized alien spider pet make for a very interesting story. Add in an ex lady alien partner who kidnaps his bride leads to an action packed romance. Received this audio for free in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this story, sorry it wasn't longer.

Loving this Series

Every book in this series can be a standalone listen, and all are well-written and full of action, adventure, romance and heat. Auctioned by the Alpha is no different. Even though Eden does occaaaaasionally walk on the edge of TSTL, she doesn't actually land on that side and redeems herself quickly, and both h&H are very likable characters. There's romance in the midst of a not-exactly-textbook "courtship" and the absolute KING of totally kick-ass pets, Hercules. Great epilogue! What else can I say, it's awesome.

Samantha Leatherwood does an absolutely outstanding job of performing this audiobook with the right amount of humor, suspense and seriousness when called for. She was totally professional, no staccato delivery. She is a definite asset and was the perfect choice.

TerraMates Book 5 - Some Shady Business Practices!

This audiobook was a bit different from the other TerraMates stories. They seem to be branching out into some questionable business practices. The poor girl didn't even have a chance to say good bye to her family. As soon as she signed papers they drugged her and sold her in an auction! Pretty scary!

Eden wakes up away from home and trying to figure out what happened. Thiago tries to explain to her where she is and what is going on but Eden is too hysterical to listen to anything. His pet Hercules scares her but eventually wins her over.

There is some suspense, adventure, action, & romance.

This is a stand alone story with no cliffhangers. The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life.

this is the 1st book by this author I dnf

I tried I really did in general most of her books a solid average rate for me I enjoy her books I think she does a decent job overall with building the characters and the stories and the worlds. But I couldn't stand the heroine, I found her petty and too stupid to live. Additionally I really did not like the narrator she just it wasn't as polished as I have heard many of the other audible narrators and I found her voice on par as something I would have heard for free on librivox not necessarily a paid book.
