Well written and organized

I’ve read every book there is to read on fertility. As a former RN from a large fertility clinic , I learned what western medicine had to offer but was not able to give my patients much else . This book outlines how to integrate TCM into your routine. I’m hoping to benefit from this book in my upcoming cycles. I do feel better after having read this book and I recommend to any woman struggling with infertility

Preparing for the Future

I have to say I am very thankful to these ladies. Having a reference on where to start when you are trying to conceive is a blessing. They have references to medical professionals and the pure explanation on a more natural process on preparing for a baby. It’s a great understanding of a Women’s body as well through all the cycles. This is a very impressive book.

Pretty annoying

It’s hard to penetrate the patina of yoga-voice patronizing that is slathered so thickly on this book, though underneath it there might be some useful information. It’s not for those allergic to the Southern California crystal healing, vaguely Native American hipster boho thing, or for those who find the use of the word super (as in, “it’s super effective!) grating. There are some genuine insights here but they get lost in the fluff. Also, the narrative choice to say “we” incessantly makes it sound like the book is written by a cult.

The reader is just awful. She has no inflection - it’s narrated in a dead monotone that I think is meant to sound soothing. If you’re going to read this book, buy the book, don’t listen to it.

Oh and lastly, the authors should use anatomically correct language. There are a couple things like “under the right rib cage” that are inexcusable in a book at least partly about the body. For the record, we only have one rib cage.

Finally the book I have dreamed of!

Thank you so much for writing this book. It truly is such a gift to women in the prep work of trying to get pregnant (which no one talks about). It is full of incredible resources, insights and connection. I can’t recommend it more to all of my community.

Super interesting for all women

This book is very well written and yet so easy to listen to. To me it felt at points as if I was listening to a podcast more than an audiobook. There is so much information in here, and although I felt like I already knew most of it, it was nice to hear it again. A lot is said about diet and life style for women who want to conceive and I love that topic. Once you purchase this audiobook you can also download a recipe book with it, which is very nice. I advice this book, it is useful and for me it was exactly what I expected.

very informative

offers alternative views on fertility including many examples of Chinese medicine.
I really recommend this book to anyone considering becoming pregnant in the next year. but it is also great advice for a better life on general.
