Very entertaining!

I received a couple of freebies from this author in this series.

They were both really good books! I like that they are different and even the main characters have flaws, but are still likeable.

I am about to purchase the other two books in the series because I have found another author that I can call a favorite and wait anxiously for their new titles!

An office romance with drama and suspense

“Awkward in Trouble” focuses on Emma and her exposure to three different scenarios of office romance, and how each one affects her life. As each scenario weaves into the next and secondary characters show their true colors, Emma is faced with friendship, career, and family choices that add a great touch of drama and suspense to this story. I really enjoy the heroines in the “Awkward” series, and although standalone stories, each main character finds the determination and strength to overcome whatever “awkward” and challenging situations she comes across. Katlynn Millions’ performance was well done for an overall smooth and enjoyable listening experience.

Decent story

The story was decent. A few unexpected twists but more unpredictable than not. the Narration was annoyingly halting and slow. Her male voicings were nothing more than a slightly lower putch and monotone reading. I wouldn't have minded it so much but there were also several glaring mispronounciations. I'm exceptionally picky about narration so listen for yourself before you decide.

Entertaining easy listen.

This book was super easy to listen to. The narrator did a great job with all of the characters and held a good cadence in her reading of the book. I found the story entertaining with a few plot twists and turns that may not have been expected.
Overall it was a great way to spend a few hours without having to work hard to keep up with a story.

I don't read love stories, if my favourite assassin has a one night stand, that is enough for me ..... BUT this is the 2nd Awkward book I have read and I really enjoyed it.
The story was interesting, the writing was great and I really enjoyed the character development.
Narrator was great .
I have bought the next one as well!

Another great story by Rachel Rhodes

Great little romance which brings in some serious subjects. The twist at the end? I did not see that coming!

enjoyed

I so enjoyed listening to Katlynn Millions. A great narrator.

Oh what a great plot.

We have a single mum, a high powered job, a ex husband, who keeps pushing his luck.
Two men who are interested in Emma and an evil best friend, so there's plenty going on.

Awkward

Lovely short story! I enjoyed every book that I have listened to in the awkward series. Although they are all stand alone books.

This author really knows how to write a complete short story! Nothing felt left out or rushed.

The narrator was great and I am looking forward to listening more of her work.

Awkward in Trouble

This is a great listen. I was easily pulled into the story and found it to be well written with "real" characters. The twist came out of nowhere and what a fantastic conclusion.

O the Drama!

This was easy to listen too, but dont expect too much. Few good twists and was wondering what the point of the book was when it happened... and i didnt expect it at all! Well done. Good narration that fit the book and the main character.

short, satisfying listen

This is the second Awkward book I have listened to. Very enjoyable. Deep enough content to not be considered chick lit and some well rounded characters. Good ending

Awkward in Trouble

Emma thinks Megan is her best Friend, but when the cards are down Emma starts to find out who Megan really is. The betrayal make it hard to trust and leaves her wondering who she can really trust. This is series is really fun to listen to and I really enjoying it. The narration is great and really adds to the story.
