B-More Careful takes sex, lies, and betrayal to the next level in this action-packed, fast-paced, suspense-filled novel.

Growing up on the cold, mean, inner-city streets of Baltimore is Netta, leader of an all-girl clique called the Pussy Pound. With no father and a dope fiend for a mother, Netta learns at an early age how to use her beauty and her body to get the things she wants: money, cars, and jewelry.

Chasing the almighty dollar, she meets Black, a local drug dealer with a deep-seated hatred for New Yorkers who falls head over heels in love with her. With a broken heart, Black discovers that Netta is only after his money and seeks the ultimate revenge against her life.

The last 7 chapters is where the story begins

I wanted to take a trip down memory lane and read an urban novel that I hadn't read before. this book was a mess the first problem was the narrator, he was fine when reading the male characters but everytime he read for the women I just would burst out laughing, they should have used 2 narrators. The other issue is the story itself I can't believe I used to read these stories all of the time. 90% of the book was used to tell three different characters back story in way too much detail, it was way too many side characters mentioned and the back story for each character wasn't even that compelling. I would have rather had a little back story from each character and the story that picks up in chapter 20 to start at chapter 5.

Narrator was a miss

Story line was ok but the narrator made it hard to keep up. His voice was too dry and no emotion or connection to the story he was reading. Made it hard keep listening.
