***These are not interconnected stories. They each stand on their own.***

'Hawk's Call'
The first thing that crossed my mind when I finished this story, Hask is a angel in a wolf's clothing. Such an uplifting story. There are such good hearted people helping Robyn to find her sister. There is hope.

Lissa Blackwell did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. I'm looking forward to hearing more from her.

'Soul Song'
I really liked these characters. Marty is basically living an American dream. Living in her RV, going from place to place painting. She seems to have everything except long term committed relationships. Yes , she is a loner and she has been hurt. Once she experiences love and people who want her long term, can she continue her wondering ways? I loved it. I also appreciated the touch of spiritual as well.

Lissa Blackwell did another outstanding job telling the story.

'Risky Business'
It surprises me to say but this was my least favorite of the Bad Boy Romance series. Not to say it was bad, it just didn't seem as strong a story as the others.

I liked the overall premise and the characters are great. I liked the family aspects as well, for once both families were complete, Mother & Father still married, alive and living together without abuse. I can't say when I read a story where that was the case.

Lissa Blackwell did another fantastic job bringing the story to life.

I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

Narrator is flat

I didn't finish listening to all 3 books. Not a fan of the Narrator. She sounds boring and mundane.

Ok

The heroine of the last book (Marissa) was irritating. She never asked Aaron about what she saw him doing in middle school which caused her to carry a grudge for 10 years. She finally gets that situation cleared but continued to be make assumptions and be stubborn to a fault. A fact that almost got her killed. My rating is based off an average of the 3 books.

Good Series

I listened to the first three in this series and figured I would listen to the last one as well. The narrator was the best part of the story. The romance and drama were blended together to make a good story. I did like the first two books and this one fell into the same style. The killer was not really a surprise although the manner he was discovered was. Interesting concept.

I liked the narrator but I do wish it was a male voice to get the full bad boy effect. It was hot and full of good story

Ignore ICKY art- solid romance with HEA

I’m sure the art was a real turnoff to some who would really enjoy these 3 stories. These are mostly middle-of-the-road with a HEA, but the art insinuates something much darker and grittier. Who knows why?
Book 1: Hawk’s Call: Robin’s younger sister Crystal calls for help when she realizes she made a mistake running off with Guts, the biker. The characters of Robin and Hawk appealed to me, but I had a problem with Robin leading the biker to the motel where she was staying. This from the experienced bar tender who could take down an obnoxious mountain. Big disconnect.
Chapter 29: Book 2: Soul Songs: The beginning of the story interested me until it almost derailed when Marti goes along with being mistaken as a stripper? I almost didn’t continue. Marti is a muralist hired to paint bedrooms for Jake’s niece and nephew, who are now living with him. There’s some real sweetness in this story.
Chapter 53: Book 3: Risky Business
As a realtor, Marissa is contacted by Aaron, to look at a house he wants. Mixed feelings ensue as he was her first crush; and someone is murdering realtors who were alone while showing houses.
You can tell when a narrator is not much of a reader by how many words they mispronounce. Hint: Right now Audible is offering the Great Courses’ Building a Better Vocabulary on sale.
Ms. Blackwell’s strength is in her female voices.

A Really Hot Listen

This is a really hot collection of stories and which I really enjoyed listening to, each book got better as it went.

Simone Carter knows hot and this is just that, Lissa Blackwell did a great job narrating.

Awesome 👍

Excellent set of books, kept me glued to each page, some unexpected things happened, that just kept me going eagerly to see what came next.

There are several mysteries, there is confusion, pain, misunderstanding, and three satisfying love stories. You’ll be glad you read. Thank you for a well written, well narrated, intriguing set of books.
